" This is with regards to my car hire from Green Motion in Amsterdam via Auto Europe. I have hired the car with Voucher number - 4908566 (Auto Europe) and when I returned the car with no damages to it but the said since the car needs minor cleaning (as per there policy) they will charge me €7.I have attached the receipt for same. When I checked my credit card which was acted as a security deposit they charged me €12.50 instead of €7. Can I request you to please check with the supplier and get my refund accordingly. This is unfair and against the policy of charging customer without his/her knowledge. Also, please note as a customer of Auto Europe that I have been booking car since more than 5-6 years or more , My experience this time of hiring car with Green Motion was not good, reason being, when I went to pickup the car they said we need the passport and driving license both as ID Proof. I have travelled in past in Europe and no one has ever asked both as ID proof. There were other customers around us and didn't ask them. I reached at 09:30AM on 27th July so that I can pick up the car at 10:00AM but unfortunately they refused. I have to left my Family over there travelled all the way back home (spent another €21.50 by train ) and comeback with passport, also we were late as we were supposed to travel to Belgium we had to dropped our plan our entire plan was disturbed.Wasted almost my 3.5 hours for no reason while on holiday with my family i.e. my 8 year old daughter. Will never hire car again. The car when returned was cleaned, cleaned with hoover but again they refused and charged me €7 as per receipt and when saw onto credit card bill it was €12.50 euro that's illegal and would advise Auto Europe to pls get back my money refunded. Kindly request you to please investigate and get my money back, otherwise I will loose faith with Auto Europe, as I haven your customer for almost 6-7 years and hired the car all the time with you. Awaiting your positive response. "

" Almost everything was good, furtunately I speak english, the lady who worked in Amsterdam did not speak a word of dutch. We came back with a full tank, but the fuelgauge did not indicate it was full. On receiving the car it was the same. That gave some problems but then a dutch speaking employee was able to sort it out. Thanks! "

" Good = Price point was very acceptable. Bad = Pay to clean car on return. Not acceptable in this day and age as once you are at this offsite facility you have no choice but to agree. Lets be honest and include this in the initial online price, then I/We can compare like for like "

" No issues with Auto Europe, the confirmation came a little late but I understand that Green Motion have to confirm the order too as it was an automatic car I requested. "
" There was an unexpected charge when I arrived, they said either they would either have to place an 1100 Euro hold on my credit card, or I could pay 70 Euro and this would cover me in the event of any accident and no hold would need to be placed. I appreciate this is insurance that I would have got likely anyway, however this should have been mentioned during booking. Although, I am not convinced that Auto Europe would have been aware of this as it felt scammy, kind of like a bait and switch tactic to get more money out of me. I am not 100% sure they would absolutely have to place that hold. I used Sixt the week before I got an Audi Q2 (much more expensive vehicle than I had through Green Motion) and only had to pay a 300 Euro hold, and I also had the car for 2 more days. Overall it just seemed like a bit of a rip off place. I would use Auto Europe again for sure just not Green Motion. "
