" Experience was generally good. I was not aware when making the reservation that the car rental pick area and return is not within the terminal car parking area but off site. I appreciate the space limitations around the airport but the distance away from the terminal for car rental collection should be made clearer for Eindhoven airport car rental. Also, there was no one in the car pickup area/car park when I finally got to it to advise that the car already had damage to the driver's side door. I took a video before departing and advised on return, as staff were there. There were very helpful, advising they were already aware of the damage, which was reassuring. "

The Hertz counter staff tried to imply that there would be a problem with the insurance if we changed the driver. I checked again with Auto Europe and they confirmed that there would be no problem with insurance if we changed the driver. The counter staff was still trying to imply that there would only be no problem providing that the car was not damaged in any way. Now we have an invoice from Hertz for additional insurance even though I paid for the whole period fully comprehensive. "

" I was given the price of €163 euros when I booked. I booked a car with sat nav, full insurance and cross border x 2 included. When I got there I was told for sat nav it was €25 per day for cross border €16 per country and I showed them the documents I had from yourselves to be told the cover wasn't full and if I had an accident I would have to pay a €1000 excess. So i was told it would be €30 per day as we were under time constraints I took it but wasn't happy. I said I'd use my mobile for sat nav but was told I could get an upgrade to a bigger car automatic with built in sat nav which in declined. I went to pick up my allocated car to find it was a Renault Captur automatic with built in sat nav yet I was going to be charged extra. I was a complete rip off "

The only issue I have is that counter staff seem not wanting to be there. There is no smile or kind word, just going through the motions.
