" I've had a problem with the last 2 bookings with Hiper this year as on picking the car up, it wasn't full. The first time I didn't notice it until I was on the motorway so mentioned when returned but they were unhelpful. I contacted customer service and they gave me a refund of 12 euros. This time I checked before I left and told them it wasn't full but they said it would be ok. It wasn't. When I returned I asked to see a manager but they were busy and I left to catch my flight. I am waiting for customer services to sort this out but after 15years of using Hiper, I'm very angry "

" Good experience with Hiper. Car was cheap to rent, clean and in good condition. The only issue I have is that we had to pay an additional £30 because we were 90 minutes late due to queues at passport control. That was out of our control, but equally it was out of Hiper's control, so we paid it because it wasn't unreasonable. I guess we can blame Brexit for that one due to the requirement for passports to now be stamped. "

" I got a vague answer about the level of car insurance I should expect from autoeurope initially which wasn't very reassuring when I trying to decide whether to hire with autoeurope. The day before I was due to hire the car I asked about car insurance and was reassured I had fully comprehensive insurance and the level of breakdown cover.The second answer was from someone who seemed much more self assured to confirm exactly what I was paying for and should expect "

" On day 2 of the car hire we came back from the beach to discover that the drivers door key lock was not functioning correctly. The central locking worked but the key did not unlock the car in the drivers door. We reported this to Hiper on the day who were very helpful and offered for us to swap the car if we wanted. However upon rental return, Hiper charged us 160EUR to fix the lock that we never used!!! It was the first time we went to use the lock and it did not work. The lock was not one of the checks I made when we took the vehicle out, you surely cannot be expected to test every single feature on the vehicle because otherwise you will be charged to fix it? We DID NOT use the lock, we DID NOT break the lock. I need to get 160EUR back for this cost, I took out every possible insurance on this car hire with AUTOEUROPE. Please can you help? "
