" I was very pleased with my rental. The only concern I had was when handing the vehicle back. It was a bit disconcerting not to have the vehicle checked for condition/fuel level etc. It was only when I went to the kiosk to ask the agent to carry out a check that this was done (and the vehicle was found to be satisfactory). Otherwise I was very happy, thank you. "

" Never had issues with auto Europe but will NEVER choose Dollar car rental again, "

" I had three separate rentals with Dollar this holiday. The first to rentals were somewhat unsatisfactory due to the condition of the cars offered ( dented and dirty). The Honolulu rental was the worst experience ever for other reasons. We queued for appr 90 minutes to get to an agent ( who was lovely) to get the paperwork done. We were then sent to another area to collect the car only to be met by another queue of very unhappy customers who had been waiting for their car to be allocated up to 2 hours ( allegedly). We were lucky as we got our car after an hour waiting and the car was clean and damage free too.... Return was straightforward on all three occasions. "

" Everything was great, just the quality of the vehicle was lacking "

" Staff were great but when we collected the car the -st car we were given took a while to start only for a warning that they key battery was critically low. They had no spare batteries so we had to move to a second car. This was in even worse shape with worn out carpets, more dents and scratches and the bumper kept coming loose. But the warning light for tyres stayed on the entire time (the guy checked and said pressure was fine so he wasn't sure why the light stayed on). But after moving all our luggage once and the late hour i just accepted it and took the car, but I took a video and photos of all the damages so we wouldn't get charged. We had to clip the bumper back on properly after every journey tho which was annoying. We did point this out to staff on return. The car did what we needed so no complaint just not the experience and quality of vehicle we expect from having used sixt before. "

" Auto Europe was easy to deal with and efficient. They could not be held responsible for the chaos at Dollar Honolulu. "

" The car was good and we had no trouble with it. Unfortunately Dollar was not up to its usual standard. I waited about an hour before getting the car as all seemed to be frenetic. To make matters worse the car we were finally given was sitting ready and waiting in my line of sight the whole time we were standing around. Other customers who were waiting were having cars prepared and brought over from the parking lot. Ours was outside the back of the office. Also, I was disappointed to have to take out another $10 a day insurance that was sort of voluntary/compulsory. "

" When I arrived to pick my car up,they would not let me take the car as I had arrived 50 minutes early,They then hounded myself to take out extra insurance even after I had explained I didn't need it,this went on for 15 minutes until I eventually took it. when I went to pick the car up it was quite frankly scratched and dented on all body parts.This was my 17th time hiring a car in the USA,and quite frankly the worst experience I have ever received. "

" The auto was provided by Advantage and performed very well indeed. But it didn't come with SatNav builtin, so I had to pay extra for one based on a mobile device attached to the windscreen, which proved to be temperamental, sometimes refusing to find a destination or a route. "

" I could not book on line and had to call by phone because of my name?! "

" After booking months a cabriolet months in advance they didn't have one on site and had to wait for the sales guy(who was helpful) to go to a sister company himself and get one that had "Just come in"! it was not cleaned very well and took about an hour, not what you want after many hours of travel !! After booking I read a review on Dollar, that said much the same .... seems like Dollar have a problem understanding when people book a particular type of car that's what they want! not hard is it!! "

" First time booking with Auto Europe which I booked after checking reviews. Booked by phone which was a breeze and I have to say it has been a very positive experience. I have another booking shortly and will comment further when that has been completed. "

" From previous comments seen I checked on the pickup information carefully. Arrivals and baggage pickup made, out of the arrivals and across the road. Picked up within a few mins. Thrifty office off site but close to airport, long wait (40 mins) but not pressured for extras. Good clean car (Mazda 2) Difficult place to get back to and if you make a mistake had to retrace steps back to H1. Rapid return to departures which was excellent. Staff were great, no pressure but busy as all flights in were about same time. First times I have used them, only real negative was the wait for pickup at the rental office. Photographed car before return just in case but have no reason to suspect there will be problems "
