The car that we did get was not the car that we had booked and was so worn, scratched and scraped that we had to spend at least 20minutes photographing all of the problems before we could drive off. We struggled to find the location of the car in the carpark and had been told that there would be a member of staff there in case of problems. There was a problem but no member of staff. After a couple of laps round the car park however the sound had cleared, so we assumed that it was just that the car had not been used for a while. A/E said they couldn't access my booking and i was to contact Keddy to get this sorted. Keddy said the exact same to me 'contact a/e' - stuck in a loophole, i lost £269 and ended up going with Sixt for a better service. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. Advertised 'free cancellation' so after getting nowhere, i tried to cancel and was told 'it can only be cancelled 72 hours before'. Considering i booked it less than 24 hours before expected pick up, i would never of been able to cancel. Miss sold, bad service and a company that only cares about the money. Never again. "

" I had the misfortune to have a break down in Austria. The car was an automatic Mercedes and would not move. Unfortunately I could not get through to the Europcar (Keddy) number from my phone but the car had a direct line to Mercedes. They had a mechanic out with in 30 mins. After trying for about 10 mins, He was unable to find the fault and called for a breakdown truck to take the car to Mercedes in Innsbruck. However by the time the breakdown truck arrived the fault had cleared itself and we were able to move once again. As we were heading home soon I decided to keep the car and it was fine. Top marks to customer service at Mercedes. "

" The experience of picking the car up was absolutely horrendous. We sat on the airport floor for 3.5 hours after being told it was only a half an hour wait. No one was given any information about why there was such a delay and staff were dismissive and rude. When we eventually got to the desk, the woman working did not even apologise for the delay or wait time and when we questioned her as to why and asked if there was somewhere we could file a complaint, she shrugged her shoulders and said 'go ahead and complain but it's Saturday, no one wants to work on a Saturday, it's always like this'. She was so unbelievably rude and dismissive it is some of the worst customer service I have ever been confronted by! We were not given any information about how to complain other than being told we can write a letter to head office but it's unlikely to even get looked at. The woman then gave us a parking location of the car which did not exist leading to us walking around the car park for another 30minutes looking for the car as there were absolutely no Europcar staff in the parking garage! Worst hire car service I have ever received! "

" Booked an Audi A3 or similar. I was told that Audi A3 was never in the category of the booking (CXMR). The correct category for A3 would have been DCMR. Instead they gave me a Vauxhaul (Opel) Astra! Spent over an hour on the phone with AutoEurope who would not resolve the issue but instead told me to contact customer services after the rental was completed "

" All good. Given a Skoda Octavia rather than VW Passatt ordered but Skoda came with an excellent GPS except that, not surprisingly, it was in German. Fortunately another rental company's employee helped us change it to English. There really should have been a Keddy employee there to deal with this. "

" Overall good value car hire. Only comments are that at Baden Airpark it was difficult to locate the desk as signage for Keddy was a very small feature of the Europcar desk. Also on returning the car it was unclear where to park, however we parked at the entrance to the car rental centre and an employee came out straight away, checked the car and drove it to the parking space for us. Very good service from the employees but company need to improve signage. "

" Returned car without any motoring incidents. I was shocked to be advised I had 'scratched' the bonnet. The car had the faintest scratch on the bonnet. I said it must have been there at collection, ( I would never have noticed it) In any case I am positive it was so light it would have polished out. They charged me 420 Euros. I feel I was the victim of a scam. She barely checked the rest of the car which made me suspicious. I have a 2nd booking with them ( through AE) which I will cancel. If I caused damage I would be happy to pay. But 420 euros knowing that it will not be repaired is in my opinion criminal. I won't use Keddy/Europcar again. "

" The drop off in Munich was a nightmare, there were no signs to the drop off depot & when I eventually got there the staff were very unhelpful. The man did not explain the check-in procedure at all, I found it a very confusing & upsetting process. I had filled up with petrol on the way into Munich but due to getting lost had obviously used a little fuel & the check-in man just kept saying that the fuel was not full, he didn't say whether he wanted me to go & fill it up or whether I had to pay an excess. "
