" Not sure what/who Keddy is. The counter staff were efficient. However, we were sure my husband had taken out the waiver policy for the trip. But I was told by the lady I hadn't and the excess would be £1600. As it was icy this alarmed us and did question whether it had already been taken out. She advised us it hadn't so we took out a waver policy with the counter lady. When we picked up the car it was frosty and not having a de icing scraper in the car, had to de ice using a credit card. Not ideal. Upon starting the car a warning light for low air pressure lite. We got an assistant to one and look. We were told nothing to worry about they'd looked at it and it was just the fact it was cold conditions. It would right itself when it warmed up through driving. The light stayed lite for the whole period. There were several lights and bleeps during our whole drive. Not confidence inspiring. Not manual. So couldn't check out whether a recovery vehicle would be required. No brief as to using an unusual hand break. So trial and error needed for that. It being icy conditions we had a lot of salt spray on the window. Which had it been checked, we would have had screen wash in the car! We had to find a garage, buy screen wash and, because their water tap was frozen, buy water to fill it up. Not grest, as this made us late for our funeral. The whole point we had come to Belfast for. Not overly impressed, sadly. To top it off when I returned home, my husband was absolutely fuming, because of additional charges to our credit car. I am livid too, now I am even more out of pocket. Having told the lady we thought we had purchased the waver cover at the time of booking and she said we hadn't. We had. I need to sort this as my husband is so angry, he scares me. Please can someone get back to me to try and sort this out. Thank you "

" When we arrived their systems were down in the airport terminal had to trek to the pickup/drop shed which was not very quick. When driving out I noticed the fuel wasn't full so had to ask them to make a note for return with same. The vehicle was 5 years old and not in very good condition with body damage, on the day of our return the engine cut out twice with an oil pressure & STOP alert both times after going round a roundabout and then accelerating up slight inclines and it cut out in very dangerous busy roads. I pointed this out to the returns team and the Europecar airport desk. Apart from apologies nothing else has happened. We also had to pay £187.43 to take the vehicle into ROI for 6 days! which we feel was very unreasonable and that cost more than the rental charges! Some sort of compensation would be appreciated. "

We had to pay for the insurance at the desk and she advised us to apply for a refund at auto europe. At the end she confronted is with an invoice of 195 euro for crossing the border. " On the whole, good. I phoned the hire company before return on Sunday evening, so I knew no-one would be there and what to do. That took a lot of the worry out of it for me. Otherwise I would have been concerned that I had not handed the keys to a member of staff or in at the desk (also closed). Maybe they should discuss your return time with you and what the proces will therefore be. "
" It wasn't actually Keddy I dealt with - key collection was from the Europcar desk and car was in one of their parking bays. But it all seemed to go smoothly. Drop off was at 7pm on a Sunday night, no-one there, so it was a case of putting the keys into a drop-box and hoping for the best. The price including all the extra insurances possible was less than £20 a day, so I was happy with that. The desk staff still frighten you with all the talk of £1000 excesses when they pre-authorise your card but in theory the extra insurance cover would ensure that would be recouped in the event of a claim. " This was a horrible experience, I was unable to get the car as when collecting I was being charged an extra £400 on top of the 140 already paid, this was for 'young drivers fees' even though the website stated these were only applicable to the ages 22-24! As I am 25 when I went to collect the car their policy was actually under 26 required young drivers fees. Was stranded at the airport approx 2 hours drive from my final destination at 10:30 at night! And to top it off when I rang the following day to get a refund o was told I may not get it! I have given all the information that was asked for and I have still not received any refund or correspondence! "
