" Before the issue with the car we had quite a long wait to pick the car up. It appeared that certain people were getting preferential treatment when joining the ever growing queue being bumped up to the front of the queue not sure why this was the case. This made the whole process a bit annoying, i also noticed that other people were getting a bit agitated for the same some even going to desk to complain. "
" It really was not Keddy's fault as it was actually Europe Car. The car i was allocated was a Seat Leon, even though i actually paid for a Crossover. The Leon had 93,000 Km on the clock and more scratches and dents than i have ever seen before on a hire car. In fact the offside front panel was loose and when i saw the paperwork i lost count of the issue with the car. I refused this car and was quickly allocated another car with only 4300 miles on the clock completely scratch and dent free, a Nissan Qashqai, which really nice so it all ended well in the end. "

The car went back full, did not use toll roads, no damage took car back 13 hours earlier 7am in morning. Had no contact to tell me of problem, guy told me all was clear on hand over. Even though I was told the payment had not gone through. I found this very unsatisfactory and got the impression that I was fobbed off as cancelling would give the member of staff extra work... I ended up paying €55.87 for a £49.53 booking which i thought was completely avoidable. "

The result was that AE found that some of the info on their web site was wrong and they have now corrected this. I do recommend AE and will no doubt use them again "

" Expecting a 4 Door Renault Clio we were disappointed to be told not available- offered a Fiat Punto or to upgrade to a diesel best option. Did not want to pay for an upgrade and was then offered a Fiat Panda as best alternative. However after using the car for a few days, it proved unsuitable as its gear lever was in a raised position which played havoc with my arthritic shoulder. Went to a local depot and car was changed for an Opal Corsa (Renault Clio not available) which proved to be excellent. "

" It's very confusing as to what insurance level in buying through you guys versus what's available from them at the desk when I collect the car. I prefer the "all damage covered" type insurance but your "CDW" insurance translates to a very low level of cover when I actually get the cars. It's also not transparent how big the deposit for the car will be. "

We have hired cars many times before and this had to be the worst of our experiences. from being told to wait in one place for the minibus to take us to the rental offices - only for the bus to arrive elsewhere - and a mad scramble as many people all tried to get on the bus, then a very long wait at the rental office to pick up the car. Staff who delivered the car were too busy to go over even the basics of the car and hence people were sat in car park trying to work out how to start cars etc. "

We declined taking the car as we had already paid the insurance with you and I would like to make a formal complaint and wish to be refunded as the car was not hired due to this. I feel that you website purposely misleads customers to get more money out of them and fully intend on taking this further if I am not refunded. "
