" We are frequent visitors to this part of Spain. This was the worst rental experience we have had in many years. "
" 30 minute wait to collect vehicle. The vehicle was not in great condition, dents and scratches on almost every panel. Worst of all the vehicle smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. We are all non-smokers so the smell was very unpleasant. Despite purchasing air fresheners we were unable to get rid of the smell. Vehicle was incredibly dirty inside and out, had not been cleaned for many months. "

" I received the information from auto Europe that told me the vehicle was fully insured. I was invited to take extra level of insurance which gave me more advanced cover and said my excess would be refunded in the event of a claim. When we arrived to collect the car, we were told this insurance was not valid and that Auto Europe could not insure cars that belonged to Key Go. We had no option but to take insurance out with Key Go for an additional 150, otherwise we would be driving the car away with no insurance. This meant the price had doubled what we originally paid, so the car cost twice as much as planned. Auto Europe are very deceptive and I would never recommend using them. I am furious and it really spoilt out holiday. "

" On arrival to Alicante shuttle bus took 45 mins to pick up and an hour and 20 mins to get car. On drop off I was two hours before take off but they told me I needed a receipt for fuel even though I filled it up. At no point in my life of hiring cars I've been told this and nothing mentioned in the contract or when I picked car up. Made to go to a fuel station and it took €2 to fill up. On return we then had to wait for others to be sorted. Consequently we had to rush through security and passport control and just made boarding the plane. Never again...... "

" Very disappointed. I had to pay an extra £139 because my girlfriend had forgotten to bring the credit card we booked the car on so I paid the extra £139 to key go. The man who I dealt with told me because of this extra charge I now have the top insurance so there was no need to look over the car an all its damage which was quite a lot. The arm rest between the driver an passenger was not shutting properly but I thought nothing of it because the man who I dealt with assured me everything is insured with the extra I had to pay. When I gave the car back the lady mentioned the arm rest not closing. I told her it was already like that when I got the car and what the man I dealt with had said to me about me not needing to check all the damage. The lady spoke to her supervisor and the man I dealt with and said everything was fine and all sorted no problem. Then when I've arrived home they sent me 2 emails with the damage details on the car. They said the arm rest weren't on their damage list so now blaming me. I think they're trying to hold another €200 held on my card. All in all that car has cost me around £500 for 4 days hire. The car was really damaged aswell. I'm considering speaking to my lawyer about it. I'm very disappointed as we hardly used the car an spoiled what was a brilliant few days away with my sick parents and family "

" From arriving at the pick up point at airport the wait was 55 minutes for the transfer mini bus. Our subsequent arrival and processing at the KeyGo office took another 45 minutes to actual complete forms payments and be allocated the car.. Only one KeyGo operative was present to process any of the bookings for the first 30 minutes As I had separate insurance for full excess cover my credit card was actioned for €1200 holding / deposit fee. This was totally as expected, but paying €25 for the privilege was a first via Auto Europe booking, and had not been advised as a non refundable charge before hiring the vehicle. This additional fee was in excess of extra 25% over the stated hire charges... Whilst booking with Auto Europe wasn't problematical, the acquisition of the vehicle at the start of the hire period was unacceptably poor. I will not be using KeyGo again! "

" I use Auto Europe regularly and I have always been satisfied with the service. I received plenty of information from them with the rental voucher and then follow on e mails concerning the security deposit, credit cards etc. and information concerning all I needed to know about pick up "
" Mini bus was waiting when we exited the airport and we were at their site within a few mins. The rental process was very quick and efficient, on completion the rental docs were emailed to me, this included details of any damage already on the car including photographs (if you need wifi to get your emails then it is available free on site and should you be waiting in a queue then you will save yourself a few mins by connecting prior to your turn, just go about half way down reception on your left and you will find the details). You will also be offered options, full ins at approx £140, pay for the fuel and return empty approx £70 ( this is well worth considering as fuel is about the same as the UK but the nearest station to Key Go is about a 15 min round trip, there is no petrol station on the airport) there is also an option for breakdown cover at £18. The car was exactly what I booked a new style Opel Mocca automatic with 28000 km (17500 miles) on the clock which was a pleasure to drive. On return the check in was very swift and the block on my credit card was removed there and then, an e mail containing end of rental docs was sent to me immediately The only negative was when we arrived at the airport and there were a number of people waiting, as soon as the bus stopped they gathered around the bus and it was very difficult to remover our cases and move towards the airport, I know people are keen to get on with their holiday but a little thought would have been welcome, perhaps all the shuttle busses suffer from this. "

" The Auto Europe voucher did not have collection details on (they were the last line on page 4 of small print on attachment) but the frequently asked questions selection gave the answer that we would be met at arrivals by a driver with our name on a card. Can you either remove this from your' site or put collection details on the front of the voucher. "

" Only on day 3 of the hire did I realise that the rear screen wiper blade was broken. As I had only been to the local supermarket, I suspect that the blade was broken when I collected the vehicle. It was easy enough to replace - easier than returning the vehicle to Key n go. "

" Sold us additional insurance knowing that the actual hire company would not allow us to get the car unless we also took their additional insurance. This made autoeuropes insurance pointless and the overall car hire price very expensive indeed. "

" A good company, great correspondence to a query, no hard sell of any extras on pickup, close to the airport and easy to find on returning the car. Two small things - The Windscreen washer tank was empty and the car was a more modern one without a spare wheel. This was not pointed out to me and could have been a problem to anyone that was not familiar with doing the temporary tyre repair with the gunk solution and equipment that was provided in the boot, if and when the occasion arose. "

" Have to say hiring a car in Spain is not really pleasurable. You know from the start you are going to have to check the vehicle over thoroughly otherwise you are going to be penalised. 1600 Euros taken as a bond from your card EVEN ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE PAID FOR CDW!! Then they try to get another 92 euros from you to cover THE EXACT SAME THING!! Overall though price of the car was okay. "
" Shuttle to collection point all went smooth. Any damages to the car were marked on the documentation, however after checking the car there were several more marks and dents to add to the list. We had already paid extra for CDW, so WHY IS IT THEY STILL TRY TO SELL YOU ADDITIONAL COVER? "
