" I was double charged initially as the site crashed during the booking and had to rebook. However it turned out both were successful. It took two phone calls to be considered for a refund and then a further week for confirmation. Auto Europe should have immediately picked up the error on their end, two bookings same driver, car, collection and drop off time and place. Next time be more customer centric, and put us first. "

" Why can't the price be straightforward from the start, to help the customer? I love the marketing with the underlying message that auto-europe are experts in rentals. However all these experts can't find a solution where the customer pays the agreed price when buying the voucher and that's it. Let me confirm that these are non-damage related fees. Also, the fact that I have to enter my details (address, age) 3 times is non optimised. Auto-europe and car rentals really need to work together and simplify further the process for the customer. "
" Overall good but nothing out of the ordinary - as with all rental companies, you need to be on your toes as an extra charge is never far away. Even if the extra charges are small, less than 10 euros in this case, it is always frustrating - these are non-damage related charges. Also, I inputted my details before for a "fast-track" check-in. Needless to say, they couldn't find my details and I had to give all the information again at the counter. In the end, with the auto-europe voucher purchase, I had to give my details 3 times... a joy. Why can't you simplify the entire process? "

" I just missed a train to gt to Lille, and so when I arrived on the next train around 2 hours later than the time that I had indicated, and I was told at Europcar that the car was no longer available for me to pick up. Not at all pleased!! I had to make another more expensive booking with Europcar. I would like a refund please, as I was never able to pick up the car in the first place (apparently Europcar gave it to someone else..) "

" 1. The fuel tank was no full on pick-up. Unfortunately we only realised this when we had driven about 10km away from pick-up. 2. Excessive bureaucracy on pick-up. We c ould not pick 40 minutes before the reserved time. 3. The final charges bore no relation to the price quoted on the reservation. The quoted price was UK77.35. The final charge was NZ$547.22 (approx UK273). A nearly 400% increase over the price quoted by you. 4. We have not received a copy of the final charges from either you or Europcar. 5. The car was returned on time. We did not put any diesel in but the tank was still half full so even allowing for the ridiculous price that Europcar charge to refill it still cannot match the final charge. 6. We now request that you obtain a full accounting from Europcar and supply it to us. "
