They are fraudulently trying to charge me for damage I had not made. Interestingly, the employee who served me was adamant I wouldn't need to take photos of the care beforehand. " Dreadful. One small mistake when completing the AutoEurope booking meant that the booking could not be processed by ClickRent and AutoEurope refused to change the booking. No refund and a new booking that was 50% more. You have gone from my favourite car booking site to one that I will not use again. "

My daily rental was approx £25 per day including damage waiver insurance, however the in resort insurance was offered at £21, £35 and £48 per day (for 3 varying cover levels) - the pressure sell is uncomfortable with warning of having to deal with foreign police and lawyers if an accident occurred. Why can't your agents and your rental company speak to each other and stop this hard sell to those who have already covered the risk? The agent that introduced me to your rental cars is clearly acting for you and taking a fee but appear to have no responsibility / ability to let you know they have already sold waivers insurance. In this day and age of consumer duty this seems unacceptable. "

" Disappointed Auto Europe have a company like Click Rent on their books, and this shakes my confidence using Auto Europe again. "

Click Rent were not on airport as claimed and we had a 20min+ wait to be collected and taken some distance away from the terminal to collect the car. Upon collection, we felt blackmailed around taking additional insurance, on top of the CDW already purchased from Auto Europe. I refused and had to agree to a €2,000 hold on my credit card instead. Noone inspected the vehicle with me upon collection. The car was filthy and had several serious dents and scratches, including major damage to the passenger side. Numerous photographs were taken as a result but the main concern is a prior customer or customers have no doubt had to pay significant damage fees but the car hire company has taken the money without carrying out the necessary repairs. Overall a negative experience with an overriding sense the company operated dishonestly both in terms of their false claim of being on-airport, and the lack of care of their fleet. I will not use again and would definitely not recommend. "

Upon arrival, we were told that they have no 7 seat vehicles available, and were told we would either need to cancel or take two vehicles instead. OK Mobility staff were incredibly stressed, and therefore quite aggressive and frustrated with the whole situation which only added to our own stress, at the beginning of our holiday. After much back and forth, we managed to speak to a manager who finally gave in and gave us the second vehicle for free, which we were grateful for. However, this doesn't account for double the amount of parking, double the amount of fuel, and a friend having to suddenly drive (having not had the chance to research road laws etc.). The 'paid for' vehicle was quite old, and struggled to get up any kind of hill. However, it was clean and it did do the job required. The second 'free' vehicle was much nicer. However, again both vehicles weren't the same spec as we had booked, as we booked the 7 seater to be an automatic, however both vehicles were manual. I asked if this could be changed, however they said something along the lines of "what else do you want, we've given you a second vehicle". So we weren't best pleased. However, our biggest concern over the whole thing was that we had no knowledge of if the additional vehicle and second driver were even insured, as the staff member was not able to explain this or understand English well enough to discuss the issue, and was quite clearly rushed to get us out of the door. "

We had to call the breakdown number provided. They were very quick in getting to us. Apparently the battery lead was not connected properly hence power was cutting off. This was a very anxious time for us and we were worried that we would be stuck without any car hire to get us back to airport. Also we were thankful that the car didn't break down when we went to mont Toro that day as would have proved extremely dangerous. This incident spoilt our last day. "

There was none. A member of airport staff directed us to an area in the car park but again no information there. Other car hire companies were there attending to their customers. They informed us that a minibus from Clickrent would pick us up. We had not been told anything about a bus transfer by Autoeurope. Our car rental started at 16.00hrs but we did not leave until 17.30hrs. "

" We were given an upgrade to the car at no extra charge and as we were the only ones collecting a car at the time it was dealt with quickly. The only issue was that we did have to wait a while for the shuttle to pick us up for the collection of the car. When we returned the car we were dealt with immediately and there was no delay in the transfer to the airport. "

I asked why and he advised me the office was closed ? I asked what that had to do with me dropping the car off, all I got was more requests for 55 euros !! " I was hiring the car part way through my holiday and so I went directly to the rental office so I did not use the shuttle service but I did see it in action at the airport and it looked efficient. There were several desks at the office and so I did not have to wait, the process took only a few mins and then I was given my key and told it was a VW Golf (although I only booked a Fiat Panda) and the bay where it was parked. It was about one year old with 5500km on the clock, sat nav etc. All their cars were newer models in really good condition and should I go back to Menorca I would not hesitate to use them again. "

" I got a call whilst going through security at the airport to be told that they would be closed and I needed to email through my passport, DL and credit card details. I then got confirmation just before boarding the flight of what car it was and where it was located with a code for the key safe. Upon landing, I got another email to say it was in fact a different car. The code provided was the wrong code for the safe. Spent half an hour close to midnight trying to crack a code on a safe, definitely not the start to a holiday we wanted. Had no contact from the company at all even though I emailed (as they were closed) to say we'd been given the wrong code. The whole experience was a complete farce. Safe to say, I'd never use the company ever again. "

" All above, you sent me to Clickrent, did not put all information on forms, and use a company that does not do standard checks on a vehicle before renting it. "
" 1, no signs in airport of where Clickrent was, paper work from you did not give much information, had to wait over 30mins for transfer. 2. At Clickrent counter, lady was rude and uninterested, gave very little information and dismissed everything I said. 3. Clickrent charged me an extra €60 for the car seat, I can not see anywhere on your certificate that I would have to pay extra. 4. We ordered a VW T-Cross, I am aware that I may not get this vehicle but I should be given something better or equivalent. I feel I was not. A Ford ecosport active is smaller, I wanted a boot that would accept 2 suitcases and our child buggy. The T-cross has 455ltr of boot space, but the Ford has only 356ltr, 22% smaller. 5. When we found the Vehicle parked on a tarmac verge on a one way road, it was dirty on the exterior and interior with cigarette packets in the door pockets. 6. Only safe way to put the car seat in and pick up my partner and child was to drive away from the office on roads I did not know following the one way system. 7. Due to customer service and their reaction to all my concerns I was scared to complain as I got the impression they would not allow me a car and me and my family would be left in a foreign country without transport, on an industrial estate. 8. The next day it rained and I needed to use the window washer fluid. This did not work and only a small amount of foam came out of the jets. I had to stop, get wet and try to solve the problem. This was a quick solve the washer fluid tank was empty. 9. On return of the vehicle I followed the instructions on the map provided. Go past the main entrance on a one way street to the return gate. This gate was locked and there was no intercom to speak to anyone. So I had to go around the one way system and into the collection entrance. 10. When going into the collection entrance I was met by a lady waving at me to go backwards, I opened the window and asked where I should go as the drop off gate was closed. The lady said "I should have been told when I picked the vehicle where I should go" 11. after parking where I was told, and unloading the car, a gentleman came over. I said how disgusted I was. I then showed him pictures of the state of the vehicle when I got it and returned the cigarette packets to him. The gentleman looked shocked, and did apologise, but it was left there. After this whole experience I do not want to use Clickrent again and it shows that your certificates are not value for money. "

" The price was no lower for click rent than for other companies who had multiple reps and regular collections at the airport. Would not use click rent again. On drop off we witnessed a staff member speaking very rudely to a customer. Overall very disappointing. "
" Chaotic collection at airport. It was difficult to see where to wait as there was nobody from click rent there. One mini van came after about 15 mins and there were approx 20 different groups of people waiting for collection and much confusion. The driver spent some time in discussion with some unhappy people, then wrote some numbers on scraps of paper to indicate an order for collection of those of us who remained. We got number 13. He then took the first lot away. Another van arrived about 15 mins later and took a few more customers. The first van arrived back and issued more numbers; managing to give out number 13 twice more as by now there were more people waiting. We were lucky to get on the next minibus that came (4th collection from airport) but when we got to the office there was a queue of about 8 people so another wait of about an hour. Our plane got in early at 8.30 and we left click rent at about 11.10am. "

On arrival I was told I would need to hold €3000 on my bank card to cover the additional insurance required from the physical rental company - in addition to the money autoeurope took for insurance. On return I was charged £650 for damage I had allegedly done to the car (I had not) because I had no photographic proof to say the damage wasn't there when I originally collected the car. I'd describe it as boardering on an illegal scam to capture pool holidaymakers who have a flight to catch and no option other than to pay. "

" The website is designed and advertise as a no deposit rental. After booking confirmation and paying a fee we have received an email that £475 deposit is required. Also, we haven't received information that the there is a tax fee required. "

" Staff unable to speak English. Charged 35 euros for a diesel which we were not given a choice about. Had a double tyre blowout and were told would cost £487 approx. This amount successfully reclaimed from our independent insurers as we had paperwork on the replacement car rental agreement. So far over £1060 has been taken from account with no paperwork forwarded or any explanation given. Without paperwork our insurers are loathe to pay the balance and therefore we are seriously out of pocket. I am going to try direct to gold car by email to get paperwork. Can you do anything to obtain this paperwork. Whilst I do not blame you, the agent, this did not work out to be the hire that we expected. "

Retrospectively I suspect we did not need this cover, as if the car broke down for mechanical reasons I would have expected that to have been covered in the rental price, but we were told that the excess charged if we did need to call a local breakdown team was greater than in our cover, and late at night when tired it was too easy to get rolled over. When we picked up the car the chap was very friendly, efficient, etc. When we dropped the car it was different staff who were rude, uncommunicative, etc. The lady was checking the car over, her mobile phone rang and she just walked off leaving me standing in the car park. After the car eventually got checked back in, the queue for the transfer was quite long and I asked how long it would take. "15 minutes" was the answer. 15 minutes later there was no sign of the transfer bus and the number of people in front of us was 11 and we knew the transfer bus could only seat 9. I asked the same lady how long it would take. She just turned and walked away. In the end we had to wait for 30 minutes. We were offered seating inside but it was quite clear we would lose our place in the queue if we did that. "

" The first time I have hired a car for the whole holiday and it went well. The car was brand new only 400 k on the clock and the price exceptional. Directions for the shuttle at Menorca airport could have clearer. Follow the green path to meeting point on leaving the terminal is far more accurate. The shuttle takes you to a trading estate that seemed full of hire companies and it can feel like a maze getting out of there especially because there are lots of no entry signs and the sat nav does not work well, at least not in this instance. Other than that it was really good. "

" I was delayed a little in the immigration and the CkickRent vehicle/driver was nowhere to be found. I had to call Auto Europe and ClickRent for over 30 minutes to get any feedback. Had to wait in the airport car park for 1 hour before the driver showed up. I had the indication that the car would be brought to the airport but instead myself and my family were taken to the ClickRent office in a van. We had to load, offload, reload our luggage and it was really inconvenient. Didn't get any help from the driver or the ClickRent staff. Why wasn't the car brought to the airport as was indicated? On the way back as well, I had to get to the Clickrent office to give the vehicle back , off load the luggage, reload in the Clickrent van who then took me to the airport. For me, the car pick-up and Drop-off was supposed to be at Menorca airport. I have been mis-sold this service. With me and my family stranded at the airport and having already paid the full amount, I had to make do with what Clickrent were offering. The car had a lot of dents and seemed heavy on petrol, had engine warning light on the whole time. They also charged me ~160£ to cover for insurance excess reduction. VERY unethical from AutoEurope to rope people in then then when they are stranded, you slap them with extras. I want refund otherwise I will escalate. "

" I have used OK Rentals on previous occasions and have been satisfied with the overall service but on this occasion I would never use this company again. The man on the desk was incredibly rude to three elderly British people and the gentleman was visibly upset and I tried to help but was told by the man in the desk that I shouldn't get involved! I found this individual very rude and discourteous. When I returned the car after my 2 week stay I was told that I had caused minor damage to the underside of the rear bumper and this was completely untrue. I note from reading blogs that OK Rent have been found to have fraudulently made claims against customers in the recent past and this company should not be using these illegal tactics. The supervisors told me I had to pay 260 euros for something that I was not responsible for. I always rent my hire cars through auto europe and I find them excellent but I will not use OK Rent again. I have in fact just cancelled two bookings through your company for two cars in Menorca in March 2019 as I had also booked using OK Rentals. " Dear Sirs, My name is Mrs Rosanne Peach and I have hired cars from yourselves for the past five years for collection from Mahon airport in Menorca. I have always found the service exceptional from Interrent but have a complaint regarding the roadside assistance from Europcar, which I feel needs addressing for the future benefit of other hirers on the island. I collected my car this year on the 28th September with the return date of the 25th October, a four week hire. On the 6th October I had to contact the roadside assistance number of 900 181 735 due to the hire car being missing from the parking area that I left it in every day since collection and every year prior. They informed me that it was nothing to do with them as it was not a breakdown, they gave me a number for Interrent of 902 880 048 which did not answer. I called them back and they still insisted that they could not help!! I then called Interrent direct on 911 501 183, the person was very helpful and assured me that 900 181 735 was the correct number for the roadside assistance and also they could trace the car via GPS.....so I called them back....again they said that they couldn't help as the car had not broken down!! By this time, as you can imagine, I was starting to get rather upset and somewhat desperate to get some help. I tried them again using a different option choice and explained that I was told they could track the car via GPS to which they said they couldn't do that because the car hadn't broken down...for goodness sake..... I told them each time quite clearly that the car was missing!!! I called the Interrent direct number again and got (thankfully) the same helpful man who was quite adamant that the assistance people should have helped me, he could hear how upset I was getting and gave me the Menorcan Police number, they in turn gave me the Local Police number at Alaior, unfortunately they could not speak English and my Spanish is very poor, so they hung up. In the end my husband suggested that we find a Local Policeman, which we did....it turned out that he had moved the vehicle as there was a triathlon being run the following day and although the car was in a lay-by type parking area, they thought it would be better to move the vehicle in case of any damage, alls well that ends well.....except.....I should not have been given such poor service by your roadside assistance people, what on earth would I have done if the car had really been stolen?? If this is the way they treat customers, they are going to give your company a very bad reputation. Telephoned the helpline who stated if I was to purchase the oil myself I would be reimbursed when I dropped the car off at the airport. On dropping the car off at Hertz I was met with am extremely unhelpful female member of staff who also very rude. No note had been placed on my file as the initial help desk had stated would - the female at the drop off point even suggested I pay for the oil myself. After some argument and huffing and puffing from the female she then agreed to refund the amount. I then had to queue at the Hertz helpdesk inside the airport for a further 20 minutes to obtain the refund. Obviously the cars are not serviced regularly and potential customers should be aware of the challenge ahead. Poor poor poor. "

" I was dealt with at the counter by Kensa and she told me the car was full of diesel and I could bring it back without fuelling it as the hire company fuel rate was cheaper than a fuel station. I drove the car for 247 kilometers and brought it back just under three quarters full (photo proof is available) I have now been billed 61,42 euros inc. tax. for fuel. This is grossly excessive bearing in mind that today on line diesel in Menorca is quoted at 1,31 euro per litre. The capacity of the fuel tank is stated to be 53 litres therefore if the tank had been filled fully at today's price it would have cost 69,43 euro. I have been either been lied to about the refuelling policy or there is an error somewhere in the system causing me to be over charged. "

I was provided keys to the car in the airport terminal but nobody from Interrrent (agent for Eurocar) went to view the car with me which was parked in a dark underground car park. I undertook only a brief inspection of the car and thus did not notice a small scratch on the left rear bumper. When I dropped off the car, after a totally incident free week of hire, there was a thorough forensic examination of the car when the small bumper scratch was picked up. I have therefore been charged over €300 to repair the bumper as I cannot prove that the scratch was there when I picked up the car. When picking up a hire car it should be standard practice that the driver and hire company inspect the car at the same time in clear light and not leave it solely to the driver in a dark car park. I will not be using this company again. "

We had to completely re-do the accident damage form to reflect the state of the vehicle, we then filmed the vehicle in detail to show the state it was collected in. on return, the checked was made of the vehicle and the clickrent employee tried to say we had caused more damage, we then showed him the video and he then dropped the issue. I found clickrent to be a rude and pushy firm who were only interested in making extra money from the booking, and will never use them again nor will I ever recommend them. "

" finding the shuttle bus very tricky. I had to go round a very scratched car myself with kids in tow on a very hot day and mark down all the scratches. The cars are parked close together and inspecting was tricky. He looked over our car and found a microscopic scratch! they wanted to charge us 350 euros. We did not sign and we will block our credit card... this is a scam and must be stopped. The car after us was very brand new and they found a microscopic scratch - probably from some tree branch and also wanted them to pay. I was told on arrival at the owners counter that I would have to put up the insurance excess and a full fuel tank in advance. 800 Euros for excess and 72 Euros for the fuel. This was taken from my credit card straight away... no problem. On returning the car with a full tank of fuel and in perfect condition I was told that the money would be refunded. In fact the money was not refunded but credited to my card. Due to the exchange rates I lost out on £50... not impressed at all by this. "

I stopped the lady but she said you have to wait 20 mins for next shuttle. I said it's too hot for the baby she drive off. Shuttle was over 30 mins. Got to the collection office, they hadn't prepared the card with car seat as booked. They charged me €110 because I had AMEX not VISA / MC but supposedly that's in the fine print. " The car was immaculate as was all of the customer service when I did get served but it did take 45 minutes for me to get my car as there was only 1 individual at the service desk with a queue of 20 people in it at one time. More staff are required to man desks and get customers through to pick up car quicker as this would put me off using you next time when other providers desks were fully manned with 3 members of staff. " It was very unclear where the Goldcar shuttle bus would pick us up we waited at the allocated point according to the instructions but the bus was parked at the far end and it was only by chance that I spotted it. On arrival at the goldcar office it was chaotic as there was a very loud argument going on between another customer and one of the female staff. The man who served us was very polite and helpful. When we got in the car we struggled to start the car we tried to get someone to show us the female member of staff mentioned earlier (sorry didn't catch her name) was very rude immediately accusing me of being argumentative I have never been spoken to like that once the car was started she refused to show us properly very bad attitude "
