" Very poor indeed. Charged an unexpected drop off fee despite having a written contract stating otherwise. Provided with a 2WD small family car having booked and paid for a 4WD SUV. Condition of car poor, petrol to 1/4 tank and no washer fluid until realised by attendant. We would never use Moventur again and felt very let down by AutoEurope. "
" 1) Auto Europe provided a written quote of 80 Euro to collect at Linate and drop off at Malpensa. At the Moventur counter we were told that the fee was 120 Euro and that the car would not be released to us (despite showing the AutoEurope booking form) unless we paid the full fee. Moventur advised us that this revised fee had been in effect for more than 3 months. 2) We booked a 4 WD Jeep Cherokee or equivalent. We were told that only a 2WD Ford Focus was available, almost no other cars were present on the lot so we really had no option but to take the car. We were skiing, so a) had a 2WD and b) were very tight for luggage space. 3) The car was not prepared well, the attendant did fill the washer fluid for us but the car was not clean and had a quarter tank of fuel. 4) As this was Friday afternoon, we could not reach Auto Europe to discuss or complain. "

They gave me a Ford Focus (small hatchback car), manual gearbox, half a tank of fuel and they didn't give me a toddler seat. I had to go to another car rental company to hire a toddler seat myself, no help from the Moventur staff. The last thing you need when you land 10pm in a foreign country. "

The car was 5 years old, 68k km on the clock and was battle worn including a missing fuel cover. No one on reception when we arrived or droped off. I was told that I had to photo the car myself and submit them to the WhatsApp number. I complained and asked for another car but was refused.
