The car was a plug in Hybrid and the the electric charge was also on zero. The woman on the counter kept insisting I take out their own insurance even though I kept explaining I didn't need it. When the time came to block €1300 on my credit card (as per the agreement) they told us that this amount was now €1900 as it had gone up in July, no one told me! "

However when booking through you I ended up with a car provided by a firm I did not know about. And OK Mobility seem to have a reasonable reputation in general even though the Malaga Branch - I subsequently discovered - has a rather poor record. I expect you, as my agent, too exercise proper scrutiny over the ability of your subcontractors to deliver your expected standard of service "

They has not ensured that the cars peopled ordered online were available - and they struggled to find cars for us. " First of all I was charged EUR 540 for the additional insurance to move the CDW down to zero, despite telling the lady that I have separate insurance via the excess refund option that I booked through autoeurope. Then I was charged EUR 90 for the petrol, assuming that I will return the car with an empty tank. Yet again, I didn't ask for it and told the lady that I will return the car with a full tank. After a lot of back and forth, I was finally refunded both amounts. Then OK Mobility charged EUR 2,200 for the deposit despite my contract saying that the excess would be EUR 1,350. I was told that she has to charge me the higher amount which is absolutely ridiculous. Due to the higher amount my credit didn't work and I had to use a different card. The state of the cars was shocking and I had to change cars three times! 2 hours later I was finally ready to leave the car rental. It was the worst experience ever. No apology at all and no gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused. The staff is totally irresponsible and just tries to upsell products the customer doesn't want. Never again! "

" The car broke down, I had to pay for a taxi to get to the airport to pick up another car. I was assured that I would be reimbursed for the taxi but despite 10 emails over a period of 32 days I have still not got the money back. As well as that when I picked up the car originally I was told that I had to pay £500 to cover any damage. When we were being served we were told that they had no automatic cars, we obviously paid extra for an automatic car . I requested automatic as ive recently undergone open heart surger, qnd automaticwould put less stress on my heqling rib cage. When I told the girl serving us we wanted an automatic as that's what paid for or discount the cost to align for a manual car. Her response was very short and rude, "as we'd booked through a broker then we'd need to speak with the broker, or if we wanted an automatic then we could stand and wait until one was available". Bearing in mind we'd already waited 1 hour to be served and then to be told what we ordered wasn't available and there was no time suggested/given on when it would be. This was totally unacceptable, we had no choice but to accept the manual car on offer. When we arrived at the car, it was clear it hadn't been cleaned inside or out. This was extremely disappointing. We know this is a busy time of the year, but to be treated this way is not what we expect. We rent from Alicante airport once a month, and it's clear that go mobility are as good as the other providers. "

" When I collected the car there was no one around in the car park to do the handover, it was in a poorly lit car park so I made sure to take lots of pictures of the damage/scratches to the car which was fairly significant. Shortly after we set off I received a warning that one of the tyres had low pressure so I had to stop to put air in the tyres. Just after this on the same journey another warning came on the dashboard to say the engine coolant was low and needed topping up. It was only when we got on the road in the daylight that we realised the car had not been cleaned outside and was very dirty inside and clearly not ben cleaned since the previous rental. The petrol I also realised was only 3/4 full also, I returned it full as I didn't want any issues. I did try to call OK mobility on the day i picked it up to point these things out but was unable to get through. I didn't continue with this as I wanted to get on with my holiday. When I returned the car it was to a very well lit car park drop off point, the person who checked it in then challenged me with regards marks on the front bumper, thankfully we had taken pictures Prior to setting off so just showed him this and he accepted this. Finally, I was promised an email from OK mobility with my contract within an hour of getting the car and also dropping off, I have yet to receive either of these emails, they are not in any junk folder either. He made about 5 phone calls, text messages, to try to find the car I had reserved (Mercedes Citan). The best he could offer was a far smaller vehicle (Peugeot 2008) which was in a lower class and wouldn't take all our luggage. Eventually, he found a medium SUV that still needed to be prepared, so we would have to wait 20 minutes for it to be ready. Then when we sent to collect, I saw a Peugeot Rifter van that they agreed I could swap to. The staff in the pickup centre were far more organized and professional than the counter staff. "

The car was in very poor condition and the assistant would not report additional damage that I identified at collection point. She was very rude and unhelpful. She also tried to upsell additional insurance for an extra €300 which I did not want as I had paid for insurance at time of booking. " Car collected Alicante airport on 25.02.2025 at around 12 noon as per contract. Ok Mobility Staff member was too pushy attempting to sell additional insurance, despite my explanation I had purchased cover through Auto Europe, the female staff member informed me I had insufficient cover, and for peace of mind, I should pay their insurance for an additional €300.00. I politely declined and this had a direct affect on how the staff member dealt with me, becoming increasingly brash and unhelpful. Approached hire car, white DS Crossover index Z937 LXH and was astonished as to how much body damage the car had including multiple paint damage, scuffed wheels and a badly damaged rear offside tyre. I complained to male staff member who looked at the damaged tyre and told me it was fine and perfectly safe which clearly it was not. I requested a replacement car and was informed the was no replacement car available. Outcome, car driven to La driven at iow speeds not exceeding 60KPH through fears that damaged tyre was totally unsafe. Very dissatisfied! Car returned safely to Alicante airport on 01.03.25 with no further incident other than the considerable stress caused by driving a car that in my opinion should not be offered for hire purposes.. I am extremely disappointed with the service received. I have booked a car through Auto Europe for 3rd May to 10th May collecting from Kerry airport reservation number PTC125991, I sincerely hope my experience will be much improved. They were telling customers upon arrival that there was hardly any insurance cover on the vehicle and that excess cover only (which I had ) had) was insufficient. Your voucher states what cover is offered quite clearly , injuries liability, collision damage, theft etc subject to excess of approx E1,350. I regarded your voucher as being the true reflection of cover and did not take out any further cover which ran from E150 to E350 depending on the level of cover was taken out through them. I think you need to investigate this issue with them as I think they are making your clients take out more cover than is strictly necessary. "

" The guy at check in at the depot near Ibiza airport was a cocky git. He didn't note any scuffs on the agreement sheet which, with hindsight, we should have insisted he did. He didn't show us to the car, just left us to walk out to the car park with the keys. We had to press the button on the remote to find which one was ours. The Seat Arona had only covered 10k km and was a really nice car. It had a notable scuff on the bumper but we returned it quite dirty so it wasn't noticed, thankfully. Overall a very good experience and 5 days rental for £19 was a bargain. "

" We booked for a 7 seat vehicle as there was 6 of us going on holiday. Upon arrival, we were told that they have no 7 seat vehicles available, and were told we would either need to cancel or take two vehicles instead. OK Mobility staff were incredibly stressed, and therefore quite aggressive and frustrated with the whole situation which only added to our own stress, at the beginning of our holiday. After much back and forth, we managed to speak to a manager who finally gave in and gave us the second vehicle for free, which we were grateful for. However, this doesn't account for double the amount of parking, double the amount of fuel, and a friend having to suddenly drive (having not had the chance to research road laws etc.). The 'paid for' vehicle was quite old, and struggled to get up any kind of hill. However, it was clean and it did do the job required. The second 'free' vehicle was much nicer. However, again both vehicles weren't the same spec as we had booked, as we booked the 7 seater to be an automatic, however both vehicles were manual. I asked if this could be changed, however they said something along the lines of "what else do you want, we've given you a second vehicle". So we weren't best pleased. However, our biggest concern over the whole thing was that we had no knowledge of if the additional vehicle and second driver were even insured, as the staff member was not able to explain this or understand English well enough to discuss the issue, and was quite clearly rushed to get us out of the door. "

On pick up of car in car park the agent quickly agreed that we should have been told about the car being automatic and provided a replacement car. The new contract paperwork was not available at pick up. After 12 hours we had still not received our contract and we had to make 2 requests over 24hrs to get our new contract paperwork sent. " Auto Europe was mostly great, except I was not entirely aware you were a third party when booking and that I was not actually hiring a car through Auto Europe. This needs to be made clearer at the time of booking. OK Mobility had a 1.5* rating on Trustpilot and had I been aware that my booking was actually with them I would ot have made that booking. "
" OK Mobility tried forcing us to take out thier extra insurasnce policy before they gave us the car. I explained that I already had cover through Auto Europe and that I therefore did not need their cover but the staff told me it was 'mandatory' to take their cover and I couldnt not leave without it. I stodd my ground as I knew my rights and eventually was given the keys to the car but others could easily be forced into paying this fee. I was also told when I collected the car that I would be emailed a document describing the current damage to the car for reference but I never received this email. As such, when I returned the car they questioned damage to the car saying it was not on their records- luckily I had dated pictures and videos taken when I collected the car showing the damage already there. If I didnt have this evidence I am certain I would have been chagred for the pre-existing damage. "

I then took out insurance on your autoeurope site as part of the rental which i was told at the counter won't cover the car and i needed to take out other insurance and request you to cancel. I did this but was told it couldn't be cancelled. Then i was told i needed to put down a £200 holding amount for a full to full fuel tank, the tank of the car wasn't even full. I found the whole experience extremely bad actually and i still believe i was cheated out of money by yourselves and OK Mobility. I would like to lay a formal complaint to yourselves and OK Mobility for the quality of the vehicle also as there were so many scratches and dents, i probably didn't need to take out their insurance as a difference wouldn't have been noted. I am extremely unhappy about this and the fact that you cannot and will not refund my insurance that i double paid for, actually more than double as the insurance with OK Mobility was in excess of £300. "

" The OK Mobility office at Majorca airport was chaos! There were hundreds of customers and not enough representatives to attend to the customers in a timely fashion. We waited over 2 HOURS to be seen, and lost the daylight hours to tour the city that day. When we were finally seen, the attendant was not apologetic for the wait, nor were they willing to offer any compensation for such a delay. The drop off is not well signposted and it took us a few rounds in and out of the airport to find the place. "

I was of the opinion that i had paid Auto Europe for the insurances, but they insisted I had not. Obviously, I feel that I have paid for something which I did not get. " Confusing system at Alicante airport we were looking for an Auto Europe desk but there was none eventually someone told us we needed to go the OK Mobility desk we queued for easily 30 minutes to be seen at that desk the girl was very helpful but we didn't realise there was an additional charge of over 300 euros for insurance. No choice just had to pay up we already knew about the damage waiver fee of over 1000 we were directed to the 2nd floor then the 4th floor to get the car so very confusing and quite honestly frustrating too. The car was good no complaints with that just your awful pick up and drop off procedure. When we dropped the car back it wasn't clear where to leave it so we went to the 4th floor only to be directed to the 2nd floor. Completely bamboozled by the whole experience so we are unlikely to use your or any other hire company again at an airport if this is what we can expect. Not happy. "

I arrived late morning and had to wait, then the replacement car wasn't available so after an hour another car finally arrived and I had to wait whilst it was washed. The counter staff then informed me I had to take out basic insurance at an extra cost to be allowed to drive the car even thought the hire agreement states CDW was included. They said they would e mail me the contract but it never arrived. When I returned the car after inspection the contract arrived by e mail. When I questioned the extra 120eu the staff said if I had brought it to their attention on the first day they could have done something. He told me to contact OK Mobility customer service which I have done but no reply yet. They used the insurance trick to sell unwanted insurance. I will not book a car hire with them again Not Auto Europe's fault but they hopefully help get my money back. "
