" Everything went smoothly and, when we had a flat battery, it was replaced fairly quickly. There were just a couple of minor things about the vehicle that indicated that it perhaps hadn't been fully checked over before our rental. We needed to put air int the tyres (actually take air out of a couple) and one of the headlight bulbs were dimming which meant we weren't getting the full benefit of the road being lighted in the dark. We couldn't adjust one of the wind mirrors as the inside lever to do so was broken off. Little annoying things but, otherwise, the car ran fine. "

" The drop off was quite ok. The lady was supportive, and everything went quite smooth and fast. I asked her to give me a written proof that the 800EUR deposit was unlocked but she told me it will take few days. Until now, I did not receive any proof that the deposit was unlocked. I have a copy of the contract which confirms that there were no damages to the car. I also have a copy of the EUR 110 receipt from Monza and would like to get my refund. "
" My flight was schedule to land at 0:25 am on 28 June. The scheduled pick-up time was 0:30 am. The flight was delayed at the last moment, and it landed around 2:30 am. The mai reason why I picked Royal Rent was because they were advertised as open 24/7. When I arrived there, the office was closed, and nobody was answering the phone. I have little children (aged 10 and 8 respectively) so I was standing with my whole family in front of their office unable to reach them. I tried to call Auto Europe on the emergency number to explain my situation and get support. The lady who answered the phone refused to listen to me and told me that, unless I had an accident, she will not help me. I could barely understand her speaking English. I had to rent a car for that night from another company nearby (Monza) which was indeed opened 24/7. Next morning, I returned the Monza-rented car and pick-up the car from Royal Rent. I presented to the gentleman at the counter the invoice from Monza (110 euro) asking for a refund and he categorically denied. He accused me that I did not inform him about the delay. When I booked the car, I have indicated the flight number so he could very easily check the status of the flight. He told me that he has a family and cannot stay late at night despite the fact that the office was advertised as permanently opened. "

" Very pleased with service at Royal Rentals. Both staff were polite and friendly. Quick collection and return. Just outside the terminal. So after exiting terminal head left. Continue just outside airport grounds and it's 1st left. Lots of car hire companies share the same set of buildings. "

" Apart from the car not breaking down it was pretty much as bad as it could be. I'd like a refund on the addition unnecessary insurance I was forced to purchase. I will actively tell people to avoid this service unless this is resolved. "
" It's a scam. Valid credit card presented at collection (which previously and then later worked afterwards) but was told the credit card didn't work and I HAD to purchase their own insurance (meaning auto Europe cdw insurance was a waste). It was 4:30am and I was on my own. I had to provide a 200EUR cash deposit which I really didn't want to do. They knew this and took advantage of me. The car was awful. Smelt horrendous and one of the belts in the engine made a horrible whirring sound. I'm surprised it didn't break down. I arranged via email to return the car earlier than planned and this was agreed. Upon trying to return the car I had to wait 2.5 hours because there was no one at the desk. "

" The vehicle was not the one booked and had not been properly inspected before rental. It has high mileage, a service due warning light, a tyre pressure warning light, a broken air vent and numerous scratches and knocks, not all of which were recorded on the paperwork. We pointed several out and were told they would be added but they weren't. We took photos but unfortunately missed the miniscule spot that we apparently damaged and were charged for on return of the vehicle. Funnily enough the man at the office knew exactly where to look within seconds of beginning his inspection. We did not cause the said damage but didn't have the proof. Awful company. "
