" The car and staff were brilliant, the only down side was that the media unit in the car gave us some problems, with the memory of the unit not being able to be cleared so my phone had difficulty connecting to bluetooth each time and it did not let Apple CarPlay work at all, which was somewhat frustrating. " This is the 2nd time I have used Auto Europe to rent a car - once in Spain and now in US. Easy to arrange - very competitive charges - no issues anywhere with either rental. Will happily use again. "
" This rental was for 1 month and when we discovered a crack in the windscreen with only 4 days left we called Alamo Roadside Assistance who dealt with the issue very politely and efficiently and we had a replacement vehicle within 1 hour - which we swapped over to only 4 miles from where we were renting in Florida. Only slight difficulty was with refuelling on return of replacement vehicle which had only 1/4 tank on pickup and when returned the same way as instructed we were initially charged fro full refill - but again Alamo Customer Services corrected the problem very quickly...so 10 out of 10 to Alamo. " I am a Dollar Express member and have used Dollar Tampa for 3 months of every year for more than 10 years to visit our vacation home on the Gulf beach. I still consider them to have a competitive all inclusive deal, (cutting out the inevitable high pressure sales at the desk of other companies for cover etc that should have been included in the cost, and persistent attempts to "up grade"). None of that from Dollar, just polite no nonsense speedy service. "
