Two days into Spring I keep thinking that I should celebrate the coming of the fair weather... in a fair town. I've always heard that Nice is nice and, as I don't know the south of France very well, I've targeted the French Riviera for my next journey.
One thing I'm very fond of? Driving in good weather. Snow is not my cup'a tea, I handle water better in boats but when the sun is shining and the road is clear I like to get behind the wheel. As usual when I'm abroad, I'll hire a car in Nice so I can get around according to my own schedule.
The French Riviera has been on my perfect imaginary world ever since I marveled at it on Hitchcock's 'To Catch a Thief', so it's no wonder that I've always dreamt of driving through those marvelous seaside towns.
A car hire in France is a great option to complement the dream as I might even consider a trip to Cannes in a stylish cabriolet to catch those rays. Unless I decide to remove the top of my car and drive all the way there but... naaaah. Not happening. This looks like a more practical solution.
I've pinpointed Nice for these Spring Holidays: the weather is great, the landscapes are breathtaking and its famed for being a place of... renowned celebration. What else could one ask for?
