How to: avoid the Royal Wedding on your UK Holidays!

With all roads leading into London for the 29th of April, instead of presenting you with a guide on how to get there, we'll just give you a few tips and pointers on how to avoid the Royal Wedding while holidaying in the UK!

If you're thinking about hiring a car in London but are not really attracted to large-scale weddings, there is still lots to see. Also Royal but not affected by the Wedding, the Kew Gardens have been put on UNESCO's World Heritage Site and are a must-see for those who want to avoid the pandemonium yet stay close to the city. It's really one of my favourite spots in London to forget the city's hurly-burly.

To truly avoid the celebrations, though, one has to stay away from London, altogether! With more than 1 million people estimated to get into the city, it makes sense to choose a destination like Manchester, a thriving city of the northwest where there are attractions and landmarks for every taste. If you're looking for a more relaxed pace like myself and want to enjoy the countryside, you're never short on options, as the region's filled with marvelous parks, much like Doverstone Park, depicted up there!

Now Scotland is one of those countries where I always enjoy driving a car hire in the UK, and if the city in question is Edinburgh then the excitement builds up from the moment I sit behind the wheel to the moment I first manage to get a glimpse of that lovely Edinburgh Castle.

If you're taking advantage of the many Bank Holidays we're having this year extraordinarily, what are your plans? Are you staying or going abroad?
