    My trip to Cape Town

It's been a few years since I've been to South Africa, but I'm really looking forward to going back as soon as time allows! Which - if I'm lucky - will be soon, seeing as I'm taking a couple of weeks off work. Now, most people tend to plan their holidays carefully, planning months in advance. Me, I just tend to wing it, seeing as I tend to change my mind quite often. I've already booked my hotel, as well as a car hire in Cape Town and I've just started researching some of the things I want to see! Here's what I've got so far!

Table Mountain - Probably the obvious choice. No one goes to Cape Town without visiting this iconic mountain featured in the city's flag. I plan on taking the cableway to the top, which I'm sure will result in great photographs (and only minor flinching due to the the height - hopefully).

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden - After the fright from the cableway, nothing better to relax than a visit to this lovely botanic garden. The garden boasts several hundred species of plants, a diverse wildlife and a section devoted to Zimbabwean stone sculptures. I also hear there are concerts on Sunday nights throughout the summer!

Two Oceans Aquarium - Located in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, the best thing about this aquarium isn't all the species you can find here. No. The best thing is you get to scuba dive with sharks! Well, provided you have a Padi Open Water Certificate, anyway. So if I survive the cableway ride, sharks, here I come!

This list is much bigger than I have space to show here without being told off, and it keeps growing by the minute! I think I might also drive my car hire to Johannesburg, so I get to see a bit more of the country. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for suggestions, so I'm looking forward to hearing all about your Cape Town stories!
