    Travelling Turkey's Mediterranean Coast

Apparently I'm becoming the official holiday planner for all my friends. Maybe I should start charging... So when my sister came to me for advice I decided to ship her off to Turkey right away. (If for no better reason than because that's what I did for my friend Jess, I had all the research already... ;)) Turkey is increasingly becoming a top destination for the Summer holidays, and it's no wonder why. This amazing country has it all: fabulous beaches, exotic cities and downright sinful food all wrapped up in a neat little holiday package.Istanbul is all sorts of awesome for a myriad of reasons, but if we were to limit ourselves to that alone, we'd get a really narrow slice of the real Turkey, and I'm training you lot to be trailblazers, so get out there and blaze a trail. ;) My suggestion would be to get a car hire at Izmir airport and tour the coast. Here is a small list of things you can't miss!

Ancient City of Ephesus - Originally a Greek city, Ephesus was the home of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Even though the temple was destroyed, the Romans rebuilt much of the city and the ruins are an amazing sight.

Ilica Beach, Cesme - Reported to have the warmest waters in Turkey thanks to the hot springs around the city, this is an idyllic beach where you can relax in the white sand while enjoying the generous Turkish sun.

Sky Sports Paragliding - Drive your car hire to Dalaman and explore the Mugla Province. This paragliding company based in Fethiye will give you the chance to explore the area from the air! Both instructional and an adrenaline rush, what else could anyone ask for. ;)

Pamukkale - The name means 'cotton castle' and this is a fabulous collection of hot springs, declared A World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Any other suggestions for an unforgettable Turkish holidays? What are your favorite spots in the Turkish coast?
