Holidaying with friends can be a delight but when you have a sister for a best friend, it gets even better! Being the adventurer Emily is, it came as no surprise when she suggested a vacation for two around the East Coast of the USA. She has been wanting to go there for a while now and when her own plans fell through, she did what Emily does best - improvise!Since we are already both within driving age, we figured the most affordable choice would be hiring a car at Miami
Airport and see where the road would take us.
Surely we could start by tanning a bit by the beach, I wondered, while knowing all along there would be plenty on our holiday schedule but relaxing would doubtedly be one of them. Orlando would have to figure on our trip as well: visiting the Universal Studios resort, getting back in touch with our inner child at Disneyworld... These are only some of the most obvious attractions on the list - and with a car hire in Florida
, much more will be possible to explore at our own pace.Of course, this East Coast experience wouldn't be complete without going to the place she'd certainly like to visit the most: the Everglades.
Even if I tried, there is no way we are able to miss out on taking an airboat ride along these southern wetlands, probably lucky enough to spot alligators - from a somewhat safe distance, obviously - and other species!
Bringing her back with me, though, that will be a tougher task than trying to convince me to hop on a rollercoaster - yes, it is nearly impossible. But hey, sisters have their knacks! What are your own suggestions for two young gals on the road? Tips are always welcome!
