" The kiosk did not seem prepared for my arrival. The contract was changed by handwritten note, and I was given a car which had 75000km and had damage on every panel - when I queried was told "all our cars are damaged". I gave the car back in identical condition, filled with fuel, and was charged £16.29 with no explanation. This is the reason people do not trust rental car companies! "

No staff at the car when picking up and dropping off, but I took usual videos and no issues, staff inside the airport were pleasant. "

" Extra unknown fees Car tyres were low in pressure. No wash wiper fluid I had to fix these issues and pay a huge fee for being 20 minutes later - out of my control. A rip-off company I will not reuse. "
" There was a large surcharge because I arrived after 11pm. The plane was 20 mins late only and yet I was charged over 40 euros extra. This was not mentioned in the booking. I would therefore not use this company again. I felt this was a very unfair amount and I wasn't warned. "

" No one at the rental booth on arrival or departure. Eventually got the car booked out after a 15 minute wait but had to drop off the keys on return and trust tha agents honesty which from experience is always a worry! Wish I could have extended the hire period through AE instead of Europcar as they just took advantage and hiked up the daily rate from £95 to £160! "

" VERY difficult to locate the office having arrived at Trieste railway station. Vehicle had some minor scratches and was only 2/3 full with petrol (both of which were explained by staff). The windscreen had old Slovenian vignettes which obstructed the view for driving and were difficult to peel off. No explanation of controls on vehicle, accident advice, etc. All the information given was in a small leaflet written only in Italian. Similarly casual approach when we returned the vehicle, largely due I think to the fact that on both occasions we arrived shortly before the staff were about to disappear for lunch "

" Quick and easy, bit unsure about how to get to the drop off point to return vehicle but managed in the end, just didn't realise we had to get a ticket and enter through the car park as no sign posts. Difficult to check car before leaving as quite dark, also stains in boot and on seats that weren't noted on arrival. We had no issues in return and all went very smoothly. "

" Long wait to get vehicle, car was not clean either inside or out. Windscreen washers did not work. At dropoff (around 5.30 pm), note on the door saying back in soon waited 15-20 mins no sign of anyone. Phoned the mobile number on the notice , a guy turned up and said 'why didn't you just put the keys through the letterbox?' When we mentioned the non working of windscreen washers , he just said oh well doesn't matter !! "

" Unfortunately the vehicle Iwas given did not have a boot big enough to hold our luggage. I had asked for a Fiat 500L or similar but the Kia I was given was much smaller. I did ask for a bigger vehicle but was told all that was available was a VW Polo which is smaller. "

" I tried calling Autoeurope at the airport before accepting the car and was not able to get through. Poor service, i am used to much better from you. "
" The car I was given, even though it had done only 10k and was fairly new, the body was very much damaged, full of scratches and small dents with one massive scratch/dent running accross the whole left side of the vehicle. The car was not presentable. When i insisted to be given another car I was told that there are no other options apart from paying more and going a class up. Also the poor chap that works in Trieste airport office should not be in a customer service job, he is unpolite, cannot communicate well and seemed quite lost. Management should do a better job, I dont think I will ever hire from Keddy/Europcar again. "
