" Excellent value for money . Not sure if all companies in Portugal charge it but we paid £1.93 per day (6 days) for the auto toll device in the car. As it made the overall rental for 6 days only £44 . This was exceptional value and the transfer back to the airport was spot on . 15 mins max "

" I am most unhappy with the incorrect advertising of Turisprime as being 'At airport' pickup and not shuttle service "
" The booking I made with AutoEurope stated that Turisprime was at airport and not a shuttle service. When I arrived at the airport the shuttle service instructions were unclear. We waited 20 minutes for a shuttle to arrive, the phone to Turisprime was unanswered and I had to call AutoEurope to find out what was happening. The return shuttle service was also very slow, we had to wait for two shuttles to the airport before there was room for us, this was midday on a Wednesday. "

" The car was in good condition albeit an older vehicle with 46k km on the clock. The rate was very good indeed. The main downside is that Turisprime is off-airport and there is no desk in the terminal so guessing where the transfer pick-up is...well, a guess. That said, the minibus turned up within about 10 minutes once I had worked out where to wait. The same on the way back - drop off car in rather remote location and get transfer back to airport, but it did leave pretty promptly. Check-in was carried out promptly and no minute searching round the vehicle for any damage. Staff not especially friendly but were efficient. "

" Although it said it was "on airport" it wasn't and a shuttle bus took us to the Turisprime office. I didn't get a copy of the hire agreement that I signed on collecting the car, I thought it was in the envelope he gave me but turned out it wasn't - I'm sure I declined the "cheaper" option of excess cover when I picked up the car but it was on the agreement he showed me when I returned the car. The car had a significant dent in it - the rep left me alone to check over the car and take pics of any damage - turned out he had already checked the car and noted the dent. The USB phone charging didn't work. "

" Insurance is the highest cost item and paying twice is a scam. "
" We paid for the insurance twice because I thought I'd booked no excess insurance with Auto Europe but when we picked up the car Turisprime said that we had to leave a deposit and that excess insurance had not been booked. "

" Excellent service. The company offered the most cost effective option. Whilst we had to wait a little while for the shuttle ro arrive and collect us from the airport, the driver was friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The co7nter staff were professional, and the vehicle we were given was a significant upgrade on what we ordered. Deposits were paid back into our account within 48 hours and on the whole the organisation provided fabulous value. "

" We expected the car to be at the airport. It wasn't, and the instructions for meeting the shuttle were poor. Long wait when we returned the car to get back to the airport. My wife accidentally left her purse in the glove compartment of the car with €60 in it. We have written to Turisprime asking them for the purse but they have not responded. The car was fine. The counter staff were efficient but not friendly. Shuttle drivers were nice. "

" I want to make a complaint regarding my booking regarding what I see as a hidden charge which I feel I should have been notified of up front. When I picked up the car I was told that I had to use their automatic toll service and pay an additional €2+ a day and told I could not pay for tolls as and when I used them which I find strange and a bit sneaky. Would appreciate an explanation of why I was not notified of this in advance because as a % of my rental price it's quite a significant charge. "

" Usually find good deals for car hire on Auto Europe but lately the better deals are always with not so great companies (like Turisprime turned out to be) and I would not be able to recommend with full confidence. "
" Very long wait at pick-up in Porto due to lack of cars for bookings and short staffed. Car given we were told was an upgrade but was smaller than class hired (just fancier). Staff were friendly. At drop off in Lisbon was quick but, no time to discuss drop off & review vehicle, discuss outstanding tolls, etc as we were quickly put in the bus to the terminal. "

" Satisfied with the purchase but at the counter they spend a lot of time trying to scare customers and sell other insurances and products which is not necessary, they should offer and accept No for an answer rather than putting unforeseen scenarios. We already had purchase additional excess waiver through Autoeurope but they were acting as if it was not the right product and that we had to spend double the amount with them. "

" Not happy with turisprime at all, but very happy with autoeurope, whenever I need a car this is the provider I use. Highly recommend. "
" The transfer never came to pick me up at the airport when I arrived, I called all available numbers (mobile and land-line) , even tried contacting via Facebook messenger and nobody answered. Had to pick up a taxi to the rent-a-car at my expense. On drop off, deposit was 2 mm bellow full tank, and I was demand to go fill the 2mm missing in some place closer to the drop off location, however when I picked up the car, the tank wasn't completly full (+- same 2 mm bellow completly full). I have rented many cars and it was the 1st time this ever happened. Don't recommend. "

" When we booked the car online with Auto Europe, we paid for full insurance and when we picked up the car from TurisPrime, we were told that the insurance bought with Auto Europe wouldn't cover for anything. Therefore, we had to pay an extra £120 for full insurance from TurisPrime. I think it's only fair that we should be reinbursed for the insurance we bought from Auto Europe. Thank you. "

" Awful, there was no indication of the cost of car seat hire when I booked, and we were charged 120 Euro's for 2 car seats for a week. I car seat was broken and could not be used, however we didn't discover this until we tried to fit it at our Villa and when we returned it we were told we could not have a refund. On top of this the lost our paperwork keeping us waiting. We nearly missed our flight and left without getting our deposit refunded due to their lost paperwork. Awful. "

" Autoeurope was always my only search engine for my car hire. However, during the peak summer period i found a rival search engine and a cheaper car hire. I contacted AutoEurope who were more than happy to 'price match' I've always received excellent service and the free cancellation 48hrs before pick up can be handy. "
" I always see negative comments about Turisprime, but feel they're not a true reflection. I've used Turisprime on 6 or 7 occasions and have always received excellent service. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The cars are of a better standard that rival 'budget' hire company's. "

" Not very good support when I called for assistance on two occasions. "
" Extra charges added for early drop off. A fault on the car that I reported 2 days into the hire period that Turisprime wanted me to pay for. Only resolved after I made some fuss which led to them calling the manager and the Police. The manager agreeing I wasn't responsible for the fault. Had I waited until the scheduled drop off time I wouldn't have been able to stand my ground as I would have had to check in for my flight and would just have to have paid up. "

" Overall good although during booking I think AutoEurope should show the cross border charges before making the reservation as I had to cancel and re-book several times before finding a hire company with a realistic cross border fee. Ryanair's car hire show this on their website. "

" Easy pick up process and friendly staff. Very clean car and info regarding toll roads.. only one small gripe which is that they take a deposit (credit card) of 110€ to cover fuel if not returned full. Does not mention anything in T&C's. I'd deffo rent again. "
