Ajaccio has many other interesting attractions, most notably the Musee Fesch famous for its 14th- to 19th-century Italian art collection (featuring works by Titian, Raphael and Botticelli) amassed by Napoleon's uncle, Cardinal Fesch. " Being a new Renault Scenic it took a while to change the dashboard and sat nav language to English as all the instructions were in French! After that it was excellent. "
" The car was superb. Because we arrived at night we couldn't inspect the car for damage, so was advised to check it next day. Any damage to be photographed the next morning. On inspection I found large scratches on the rear nearside. I took the photograph as instructed and emailed them to europcar but despite three attempts to ask for an acknowledgement had no reply. This was worrying as it was important that they had received them. However, when I returned the car and showed the photos, this was accepted. "

" I booked a VW Golf. On arrival I was given a 1.2L Peugeot 2008. When I pointed this out I was told this was in the same class. No way can a Golf and a 2008 ever be classed as even remotely similar. We drove away with it anyway. After a few miles we noticed the car was making a dreadful noise from the transmission Either a gear issue or clutch. Called garage, took the car back, only to be told it was fine. It was not. We worried the car was going to pack up the whole holiday. It is January, the car lot was full of cars, an alternative could easily have been offered. "

It was not made clear that this could happen. If I had taken out an extra policy with Eurocar, I would have thought I would have been covered. "
