" Just awful. Very poor customer service. When I saw what the state of the car was in I rang to cancel, but was told I was too late. I will never use you again as the experience has been horrendous for both me and my family. "
" The hire car had numerous scratches and dents on it and was aging - it was 3 years old. When asked if another vehicle could be used I was told there was none available. There was no manual in the car, and I was left to work out how to use it, with no guidance or help. "

" The Enterprise location confirmed, was not open when I arrived to collect the car. I had to call Enterprise and engage the nearest office, over 2 miles away. They came and collected me and took me to their alternate location to process the collection from their. But this added almost two hours of wasted time. Also, there was no contact number in their system, from the original booking in your system. This meant they were unable to advise me in advance, of the confirmed location closure. It seems like your two systems are not adequately aligned. Also, you didn't collect any driving licence details. "

" I would in future book directly with budget. If I had, I would not have been charged for unused days as I returned the car 3 days early. Consequently, pre-paying was a bad decision as Auto Europe offers no flexibility. I should have read the fine print more closely. I won't make the same mistake again. "

" The price quoted by you for the hire was £97.62. The final price paid to Hertz was £105.96. I cannot see a reason for this difference in the Hertz invoice and I would find it interesting to be given an explanation of the difference since my choice of car hire company was made on the basis of the price quoted which I expected to be the same as the price paid. Where there is a discrepancy, it would be very difficult to confidently recommend Auto Europe as a car hire source. "

" I purchased cdw ins on top of rental only to arrive and be told I needed to buy ins worth £22 per day or else I'd be charged excess of up to £1000 for any bumps chips or other. Couldnt afford to purchase. Very tense experience checking car every time I parked. "

" No problems with car hire, but Hertz has taken £233.99 out of my account with no explanation why. I had to return the car to LGW instead of Bournemouth; I informed Auto Europe and Hertz of the change and was told a fee of £50 would be charged; but £233.99?? I would like an explanation before I could recommend the Company on this website. "

" Unfortunately no group "C" cars available and charged for fuel on returned full tank. All sorted out in 30 minutes. Two Nissan Notes and keys were confused. Normally Hertz are great and this mistake should not tarnish their normally perfect service. Well done Hertz Bournemouth Airport for swift rectification. "
