" As above - Budget's approach to adding in extra charges is my main complaint. Guess this isn't auto europe's problem but would strongly recommend you highlight this info to future users of Budget via your site. "

" We seem to have been charged almost 30 euro for refuelling, even though we refuelled before returning. If so, I will never use Budget again - this charge was not stated by the counter staff, or maybe it was the drop-off staff who didn't recognise that the car was full and shouldn't be charged. For all I know, this charge that was on the receipt they sent, won't actually be levied? if so, I'm almost more irritated - I wasted a lot of time trying to contact budget to find out if this was being leveied (and when I go through to UK, they said they wouldn't be able to see details for 48h) Expensive car already so really annoyed at the extra charge. "

" See above comments. A 5 door car is important to us and unless we could be certain of this next time we visit Bremen, are likely to hire a car with an alternative supplier. "

" Requested a 5 door car but provided with a 3 door. This caused difficulties for passengers with limited flexibility. We are frequent visitors to Bremen and would be cautious about using Thrifty again because of this. "

" We had been visiting a relative who had just undergone an operation for Cancer and this experience added to the stress and strain. My partner was very upset by the whole experience. We often hire cars when abroad but I will avoid Auto Europe and Alamo in future. "

" Car was nice, lady on reception was nice. Initial insurance request of 250 euros was a joke and quickly an offer of 80 euros made. Very quick inspection of car and small marks were not recorded as "too small" by the agent. On return the car was inspected with a torch and a scratch only visible if you laid on the floor was found. As the odometer proved we had driven the car from the airport to our house and back again, at no point could the damage have been caused by us. It took lots of discussion before eventually it was agreed that the mark was there when we first took the car. Overall felt like we were being conned and wont use your service again. The lady dealing with us was only doing her job but i suggest if the inspection when returning the car is so thorough then the inspection when taking the car should be to the same standard. "

" This is the second time we choose the lowest price from Auto Europe, but been charged hiding charges over the counter. "

" There is hiding charge of 23.5% for Premium Station Surcharge. Spoke with Europcar and been told we have to ring and find out which location will charge this (maybe some airports, maybe some stations). This wasn't show up when I book with Auto Europe. "

" Was suprised to have an upgraded car. But would have liked someone to check the car with me and explain how the car operated, as it was very modern and I had had no previous experience of driving such a modern car. Also to have the Sat Nav explained to me. All the appropriate manuals were with the car, but were in German, so no help at all. "
