" I was disappointed with the pick up arrangements. I was due to collect the car at 9am so I arrived early at 8.40 to discover that there was an appointment system. Several other people present had been phoned to make an appointment and I wasn't. I didn't leave with the car until 9.45. I made the effort to phone before hand to check the documents I needed. I put time and effort in collecting the documents but none were needed. On pick up I was unhappy about the way the person interacted with me; they rushed me, spoke a hundred miles an hour, did not observe social distancing and I had to ask tehm to step back and give me an opportunity to find the document they had requested. All in all VERY disappointed with the pick and drop off experience but delighted with the actual car. "

" Car was great other than when we picked it up it did smell of smoke from a previous user and we couldn't get rid of the smell the whole 10 days we had the car. The lights were not very strong at night on country roads also. "

" I have had many rental contracts with Auto Europe and found the process easy to follow after the first one. "
" Booking clerk had to have two goes at getting my documents sorted and although I indicated that I have had many dealings with Auto Europe and Europcar I was still given suggestions that I didn't think were necessary. The vehicle I was given was very noisy in the transmission especially first gear. The dent on the bonnet needed to be repaired, it was rusting. "

" We were told our car had been rented to someone with the name Michael Walkner, which is very unlikely. We felt pleasured to upsell and take insurance. Did not enjoy the experience. Booked online, then had to do the booking all over again in the store and pay more money. The whole point was to save money. "

" Booking was quick and easy. One small complaint is the address of where to collect the car from was very difficult to find. "
" The agent was not really as welcoming as he could have been. The booking was for 8 and i was told quite gruffly that a car in the class i had booked was unavailable and i would have to wait but a colleague suggested an alternative and finally i did'nt have to. "
