Where to pick up my car hire at Geneva Airport

Counters for rent a car at Geneva Airport are split between the Swiss Sector and the French Sector. In the Swiss Sector, the desks are situated at the Arrival level, towards La Poste. Returns on the Swiss side are at car park P51, lower level. If you rent a car in Switzerland but return it in the French sector, you may be subject to a fee.

If you booked a car hire from Geneva Airport in the French Sector, you will be able to reach the French side, even if you land in the international one. You will have to collect your bags, proceed to the Check-in level and follow the "Destination France" signs, go through customs ticket counter, and then proceed to the car rental desk. For departure, you can return the car to the French Sector. If you are flying to countries other than France, you will more than likely have to check in on the Swiss side.
