Location: The airport is in Mauguio, about 4 miles south-east of Montpellier.
Airlines operating at Montpellier Airport: There are five airlines at the airport that operate year-round, while others operate seasonal or charter flights. easyJet has direct flights from the UK to Montpellier, from London-Gatwick in particular. Seasonal flights are also offered from London-Luton.
All facilities are housed within one terminal building at Montpellier Airport. Arrivals will be on your right and departures with check-in desks on your left as you enter the building. Departure gates, on the other hand, are on the first floor. An information point is located between arrivals and departures on the ground floor, should you require assistance.
The car rental centre is just outside the terminal building, next to parking hall P2, directly in front of you as you exit the arrivals. Make sure you have read through your car hire voucher from Auto Europe carefully before you approach the car rental desk.

Montpellier Airport caters to all its visitors' needs despite its modest size. If you are feeling hungry, you can either head to the brasserie located in the arrivals area on the ground floor, or visit one of the snack bars dotted around departures on both the ground and first floor. A kiosk on the ground floor offers reading materials, while the first floor duty free shop is an excellent place to shop for some last minute souvenirs or presents. A cash dispenser can be found on the ground floor, as well as the desks of airlines and tour operators.
Car hire from Montpellier Airport is the way to go if you want to be well connected to the surrounding region. You can drive your car hire to Montpellier via the D66, with driving time varying between 10 and 20 minutes depending on traffic. Marseille can be reached in about an hour an a half when you take the A9 and A54. Or if you head in the opposite direction on the A9, you can get to Toulouse in about two and a half hours. If you need public transportation in order to reach the city of Montpellier, your main option is the Airport Shuttle (bus route 120). The bus route runs between the airport and Place de l'Europe in Montpellier, with a journey time of approximately 15 minutes. You can find the bus stop outside the terminal building - it is to your left as you exit arrivals. When you reach Place de l'Europe, you have the option of changing to the city's tram.
Parking spaces are abundant on the outskirts of the city, where many Park and Ride tram and bus stations are offered. On-street parking and car parks are also available in central Montpellier.
