    Location: The airport is located approximately ten miles east of the city centre.
    Airlines operating at Nantes Airport: Air Canada, Air Canada Express, American Airlines, American Eagle, Bliss Jet, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, United Airlines, Virgin America and WestJet.


    LaGuardia currently has four terminals connected by buses and walkways. Terminal A was the original terminal for flights from overseas and is a Marine Air Terminal. The terminal is suitable for Clippers, a type of plane that lands on the water, and was the airport's main terminal in the 1930-1940s. The terminal has been updated several times since. Terminal B serves most of the airlines at the airport. The terminal itself is six blocks long and four stories high and has 40 aircraft gates. Terminal C and D were designed by William Nicholas Bodouva and were opened in 1983 and 1992. Terminal D was created specifically to accommodate Boeing 757 and Boeing 767 aircrafts from Delta Airlines.

    Airport Facilities

    The airport offers a wide array of shops and a duty free area, selling anything from fashion to cigarettes. Most of the facilities are located in terminal B and C. There are also several restaurants scattered throughout the airport ranging from small bars to a food court. The airport has several charging stations, ATMs and 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi for all passengers. For travellers that are flying with pets there is a Pet Relief Area in Terminal A. Upon arrival at the airport you will see signs to the Welcome Centre where you can obtain airport and tourist information.

    Transportation / How to get to the airport

    By Car

    By bus and taxi
    The airport is easily reachable by public transport. It has a direct connection to the city with the metro with stops at all major destinations like Manhattan and Queens. Next to the metro there are also several bus lines departing from the terminals.

    Parking Tips

    LaGuardia Airport has reduced parking availability and is currently reconstructing the infrastructure to push people towards public transport. Nonetheless, there are several parking lots at the airport with the P5 being a cell phone lot where you can park for free for the first three hours. This parking lot is mainly used by people dropping off or picking up passengers. The car hire companies have their own parking lots where a car can be returned. It is possible to book premium parking via the airport website.
