" The guy at check in at the depot near Ibiza airport was a cocky git. He didn't note any scuffs on the agreement sheet which, with hindsight, we should have insisted he did. He didn't show us to the car, just left us to walk out to the car park with the keys. We had to press the button on the remote to find which one was ours. The Seat Arona had only covered 10k km and was a really nice car. It had a notable scuff on the bumper but we returned it quite dirty so it wasn't noticed, thankfully. Overall a very good experience and 5 days rental for £19 was a bargain. "

I know for a fact, there is no way these scratches could have been made during my rental as the car was parked in 1 place in a designated parking area the entire time and we only made 2 very short journeys where I parked in a completely open car park and these scratches look like old wear and tear to the car. Then, when I contested this charge over email, I received no response. Then £668 was taken from my card without any further explanation for what that extremely high fee related to. It is completely outrageous and I am following up with all relevant authorities as this company should not be allowed to behave in this immoral way. "

" When I last visited Ibiza, I used Ok Mobility for my car rental. Never again. So, I used Centauro for my most recent trip, having booked through AutoEurope. I have found that Ibiza Car Rental is VERY expensive compared to other holiday destinations I've been to. Centauro was not the cheapest available, but wasn't far off the mark. OK Mobility will show up cheapest 99% of the time... They're absolutely terrible to deal with. As with many Car Rental places, picking up the car can take far longer than necessary. I think they need to review their processes and find a better, more efficient way of releasing cars to customers and make it normal practice. I was being dealt with at the counter for at least 30 minutes before I was handed the keys to my car. Even though I had paid for additional cover on the insurance through AutoEurope, the girl at the counter was rather insistant that I purchase it from them too. I declined and paid 1400Euro deposit. They also took an additional deposit to cover fuel. All this was fine and not unexpected. The car was exactly what I had booked and was very nearly new, with just 5000km on the clock. When returning the car, the drop off at the depot was very fast and efficient. They have workers who quickly check over the vehicle for any sign of damage. Sign off there and then and allow you to wait for your free transfer to the airport. There was no requirement for me to go to the desks. All in all, a pleasant car hire experience was had. In addition to the above. One comment I feel I should make. I feel it is very unfair for car rental firms to charge additional costs for booster seats. I have never experienced this prior to coming to Ibiza. Families are forced out of pocket for these. Same thing for additional drivers. Never have I had to pay to add a 2nd driver to a booking. "

When I arrived I had to take 6 bags a car seat and a pram along with my partner and a 3 year old to a car park and then into a minibus to another location, and the same on the return. In return there was a tiny scratch on the bumper which was about 4 mm long I was accused of doing the damage even tho the whole car was covered in damage and scratches. I will be informing Auto Europe and launching a formal complaint and push for an inquiry to have Click Rent removed from their platform as Click Rents values are not aligned with Auto Europes and it does not meet their threshold standards. The pickup and drop off were supposed to be 'on airport' but we had to get a shuttle bus 'off airport' The counter staff were rude when I had to change the first car straight away as the airbag and parking brake warning lights were on. The second car had to be returned on our second day and wasted two hours out of our day as the airbag light was faukty on this one too aswell as the seatbelt sensor being faulty which kept beeping. Centauro staff were rude, not willing to accept how bad their cars were and I will never use them again. No wonder they are cheap. Other guests on the shuttle bus also said it was supposed to be airport pickup and no shuttlebus. "

I had to go to the 4th floor of the car park to collect the keys with all my luggage and then had to go to the 2nd floor to collect the car with all my luggage. The car was scratched all over. It is not an efficient or enjoyable process. "

The clerk at Clickrent fabricated my email address instead of using the email I booked with. Therefore the 'contract' showing previous damage was sent to a fake email and not mine! The car seat we booked (booster for 4+ year old) was wholly inadequate and my child did not fit in it! There were no other boosters available apparently. Finally, on return the Clickrent guy spotted a tiny scratch on the very front bumper immediately! Almost like he knew we hadn't seen it before. We now know that Clickrent has conned many other people in the exact same way. They have stolen £476 from my credit card and not provided any emails or paperwork to proof prior damage or even consult me the cost breakdown. If we had time before our flight we would have called the Policia! Avoid and never use this car hire company. They do not respond to emails to their customer service address and lie to steal money from their customers. Illegal and need to be investigated. "

" Interrent in Ibiza is apparently operated by GoldCar which is to be avoided at all costs (in comparison with Interrent at GVA which has always been perfect and operated by EuropeCar). Asked to pay euro 170 for additional insurances and refused. Was told vehicle was a week old and minimum price for any damage was euro 400. On inspection, the vehicle had done 1800 km and was in a very poor condition with many scratches and dents not recorded on the check out form. We spend 30 minutes marking all of the damage and had the form stamped but the vehicle damage hadn't been updated on their records when we returned. Check out was fine and no additional damage was charged but there was a concern that this was almost fraudulent and certainly not best business practice for car hire. I would avoid in the future. "

" Not sure you want to hear this but my experience started in the airport I waited over an hour and half to get to the front of the queue, in fact another flight had landed and they were seen before me. On the other side of the airport counter, there was only one person airport side who was extremely slow and no one came to help him, even though some staff were sitting down doing nothing. When it became my turn this then took another 45 minutes to do my paperwork even though I had already filled this in online he then had to add the information again!! There was a hard sell on the insurance which was extortionate and total rip off and the 151.00 euros for fuel which has not been returned? When I got to the car there was no one around to check the car and the damage already done so I have taken pictures just in case you come back to me saying there's damage. The only good bit of news was when I returned the car the guy came straight over checked the car and actually spoke to me he was the only professional person at that location Needless to say I will not be using Gold Car again "

" I collected car at 10pm. They did not have an airport desk nor any sign in the car park. We eventually say a centauro minibus and did 5mins transfer off-site to their office. I had booked fuel full to full. The car was 3/4 full and they told me to pay in advance for the fuel and bring it back same. I was not happy with that. They then said if I was not happy then i could cancel my booking!! Even though it was late at night and we had no other options their attitude was "take it or leave it". In the end they agreed that if we brough the car back and it was under 3/4 then we would not be charged a penalty. Not good. We I would be wary of using them again. "

However when I gained access to the car I could not start it as the dash stated 'not ready to drive yet'. There was no-one in the Budget booth on Floor 3 so I wasted 15 mins going from floor to floor trying to find someone! This was quite distressing to me as it was dark and I was a woman travelling alone-wondering anxiously round a multi-storey carpark. Eventually I found a Budget employee who was unable to resolve issue, but a male colleague who appeared told us that the clutch had to be depressed before the engine would start. If only I'd been informed of this in the airport booth! So, all in all a frustrating and stressful start to my holiday sadly. Things were fine however from day 2 onwards! Thank you. "

" I was stung with the massive insurance excess. A drunk driver smashed into the rental car at 3am while the rental car was safely parked and empty. Europcar charged me the €1200 excess even though it was 100% not my fault; there was no effort to retrieve compensation from the drunk driver's insurance and I have no recourse. I feel abused / robbed by Europcar and will not go near Keddy/Europcar again given how they just charged me and walked away. What's more they even charged me for a full tank of fuel and handling fee for fuel in the smashed car!! I would be appreciative if AutoEurope can help make this right. "

Then she pulled the shutter down and went home, leaving us stranded in the airport - no car even though paid for, and having to get a 50 euro taxi there, and back the next day to rent from another company... will you guys do anything about it? " We are very disappointed with the service at Record in Ibiza. When we presented our paperwork to the representative, he said that the insurances we took out with you are nothing to do with them and in fact they claimed to know nothing about your company. As a result they tried charging us either 178Euros as complete insurance which is non-refundable or we could face paying 1400Euros if there is any damage/break in etc on the return of the car. As a result of this, we left the Record branch without a hire car. We'd already paid AutoEurope the full rental amount with insurances but they were not going to honour it. We were offered a taxi to our hotel in San Antonio bay at a cost of 60Euros. We declined and ended up stranded for over an hour until we decided to make the walk back to the airport. We got a taxi from there which cost us 28Euros so the car hire place were still trying to rip us off. Please can a representative contact us with reference to claiming our money back "

Instead of costing £50.83 the hire cost this amount plus the additional 147.20 Euros that Centauro charged me at the desk. AutoEurope refused to discuss the situation and Centauro had to be emailed 3 times before saying they will look into it and will reply within 17 days. I am not holding my breath and feel the business model is set up to take advantage of passengers who have been disrupted through no fault of their own. There was no reason to treble the charge for a booking that already existed. Will never use either company again. "

Despite apparently being at the front of a 'nominal' queue that had formed, the minibus arrived to take us to the off airport location but didn't go to the head of the queue. We have small children (6 & 4) and hence weren't able to react as quickly as those without children, and thus missed the first two minibuses that did come. Eventually we were taken to the OK Rent a Car office off site, where I had to wait until 00:45 (3.25 hrs!) to even be seen. By this time we had hired a taxi to take the rest of my family to our destination (16 Euros), to get our young children to bed. Upon being seen I was informed there were no cars of the type I'd booked available (7 seats) and would have to take a 5 seat car (which can't accommodate two child seats and an adult in the back. I was asked to return the following day around 13:00 as they would likely have a car in. In addition after paying for the car seats I was then informed there were none available! I eventually left the car rental office at 01:15. I returned the following day at 13:00 but was again informed the car I'd booked wasn't available. I did manage to collect the car seats for my children, and agreed that OK Rent a Car would deliver my car that evening. The car was eventually available around 19:00, and was delivered to me around 20:30 (I was out at dinner earlier) on the evening of Sunday 21/10/18. My whole experience was easily the worst I've ever encountered at a hire car company, and had a significant negative impact on the start of my holiday as well as incurring additional cost for us. "

" The worst experience ever and totally ruined my wifes and my holiday. We had to wait (and wait and wait) at a 'meeting' point at Ibiza airport. None of the airport staff had heard of 'Click-rent' (your agency). At several attempts phoning numbers on my voucher form I was told we would be picked up in 20 minutes. An old van arrived for us and we (and another family) were driven to an industrial estate miles from the airport. We queued up at the 'customer service' desk in a scruffy garage. One women was carrying out bookings on the desk whilst the other one was ignoring the customers talking to what sounded like her boyfriend on her phone whilst the queue grew and grew. After 40 minutes (whilst the other worker was still on her phone) I gave my details to what I can only describe as one of the rudest women I have ever met. Her gestapo like tone was a constant and I felt like I had done something wrong? She ended up telling me that I had to hand over my credit card (she refused my debit card?) and she was going to put a lock on it for 1050 euros. When I asked what that was for she said it was when I had an accident (not if - when?). I asked what would happen if someone drove into me? and she said she would still charge me the 1050 euros even if it was not my fault and I would have to try and claim it back from the company when I got home? I questioned this and she snatched the car keys back off me and told me to go and rent from someone else? We were stuck on an industrial estate miles from the airport so I had no option but to pay. I drove the car to our resort (Es Cana) and paid for secure parking for the 7 days we were staying there in case someone damaged the car. I didn't use the car once all week (I daren't). I got the car back to the industrial estate at 8.00am on the day of our departure after filling up the car with petrol (it required less than half a gallon) just outside Ibiza town. I parked up and a surly man (who didn't introduce himself, say 'good morning' etc...) came up to inspect the car. He never spoke to us once and got into the car and started the engine. He jumped out of the car immediately in an extremely aggressive manner and told me that I had broken the contract and that I owed him 29 euros. I asked him why? and he said whilst the engine was running the fuel gauge had dropped one bar and was not completely full. I explained that I had filled up at the nearest petrol station that was open to the dropping off point. He said that I had broken the contract, so I said I would get back in the car and go and try and find another petrol station and fill it back up. He just walked off leaving the engine running. So we reloaded our luggage and got back in the car. We had to drive round the one way system and after 10 minutes (we could'nt find a petrol station that was open) took the car back. I parked up, unloaded our luggage and took him the keys. I explained that I couldn't find a station open and told him I would pay the 29 euros. He told me that it was now 35 euros and if I didn't pay that we would not be transferred back to the airport. My wife was now upset and when I asked him why his attitude was so bad he spat in front of me and said something in Spanish? I signed a piece of paper and thankfully restrained myself from smashing his brains in. Julie, my wife, said if this had happened at home she would have immediately phoned the police. I was just glad to get away to be honest before I did something that would have gotten me in big trouble. The young girl who drove our transfer van back to the airport was in tears - she had witnessed what he had shouted after me after I had got on the van (it was in Spanish so I didn't understand) - she kept saying she was so so sorry for what had just happened over and over, and my wife and me had to console her. She was lovely and we felt bad for her. I told the girl at the airport that I was going to report Click rent but would say how nice she had been. She told me Thank you but would not give me the thugs name as she said she was too scared of what Click rent would do to her. I am going to send all of this to the 'Ibiza tourist board', Ibiza airport administration team, the British embassy in Spain and will post it word for word on 'Trip Advisor' and all European car rental sites. I want to ensure that no one else (whatever their nationality) has to go through what my Wife and me went through. You are most definitely the worst company that I have ever dealt with and the people who you employ are thugs, bullies, and criminals. "

It's the way you are ticketed /parking is almost non available except in bays coloured yellow or blue but limited to up to 2 hours .if you can find an empty one. " Centauro in my experience give good speedy car hire. Vehicles are excellent mechanically , I could not fault any of the service centauro provided. However with regard to car hire in Ibiza and if going to SantAntoniDemany for any length of time. Don't. This place has virtually no parking spaces in the town. And the local "trafic wardens" are extremely prolific my car was ticketed twice and on the second occasion the ticker had not been on my car any longer than 24 hours.ie found ticket 16.00 hrs my departure for home was 0600 following morning. Imagine my shock on taking my suitcase to car at 05.30 am to find it gone. Stolen ? Or towed by local authority. As stated I had two tickets the first was placed on car on a Friday i paid it on the Tuesday following week. Four days after it's issue. Same day after having paid penalty I found another .could not have been placed day before because there was an all day downpouring of extremely heavy rain which as ticket was not in a polythene protective envelope would have been totally washed out by the force and sheer amount of rainfall.so it was put there sometime on the Tuesday. . It was dry and unaffected by any rain...... Any way get the picture... it's a racket ...small island ...hire cars are highly visible ...targeted by trafic enforcement agents...easy money off the holiday maker ..dont be caught this way. Taxi to your destination from airport ...hire there if you wish to explore..but only for day at a time so you can park the car back at hire company's yard avoid the 200 euro fine (100 if paid within a given time) "

Not really a big problem but just be aware that you have to walk outside of the exit and turn left and walk to the end of the building, there's no desk as such or any signs for AutoEurope or Click Rent. " I had taken the higher cost vehicle rent charge to cover any accidental damage, when i arrived at Click Rent they stated would need to spend a further 130 euros to cover any body work damage. This essentially increased the overall cost by a third. When I queried this with the Click Rent staff they said the insurance paid doesn't cover their car and was an agreement with the broker AutoEurope. Obviously I felt I needed to pay additional for the insurance so I wasn't stung by a 1500-1700 euro excess charge for any damage. However, I was given a car from a larger class and they didn't query sand in the car or dirt accumulated from a family holiday in Ibiza. "

" I got there and took a ticket, the number was 243. The number on the screen was on 127 but there were only around 15 people in front of me?! There was no attempt to fix the issue, people were pushing & no one working there seemed bothered about the delay. I ended up paying €18 euros for 'priority' checking in which only saved me around half an hour. I want that refunded!!! Complete waste of money! You had to collect a ticket and wait for your number to be called. For an additional 18 euros you could join the 'priority' queue. We decided to join this queue and I'm glad we did as I think we would still have been there waiting for our car otherwise! Even in the priority queue we had to wait over two hours to be served, when our car was provided it was covered in scratches and generally messy throughout. Will absolutely not be using OK Rent ever again and advise everyone else to do the same. "

" The counter staff was very underhanded in the way he sold me the "premium security package" and excess waiver insurance and basically ignored me every time I had mentioned I had already purchased 3rd party excess waiver coverage. He claimed that the additional 173 euros i paid for this would have 100 euros refunded as their fuel deposit but on later inspection of the document there was an additional 100 euros fuel deposit. I believe this was greatly missold to me. With the benefit of hindsight, I should have checked the form but having just stepped off a plane late in the evening as well as the customer service staff rushing through the rental process with no opportunity to review and realise what I was signing up for, I was caught off guard which I believe Interrent used to their advantage. " I had to negotiate a car because the correct one was not available and was told if i accepted a lesser car i would be contacted when a car in my range was available. i didn't believe i would get a call once i had accepted the lesser car. i did get better car after much discussion. Then i got an email the following morning asking me to return to the airport day to swap the car for one in the category i had booked in. This car developed a fault with the convertible roof within hours of collecting it so i had to return it. The fault meant all my possessions were locked in the boot it was suggested that i caused the fault by putting my beach gear in the boot. I was asked to sign a form that was written in a language i could not read before i could get a car (the original one i had booked). I signed the form under duress and picked up the next car. I was told we might have to wait till the next day to retrieve our possessions from the other car including my wallet and key to the villa i was renting. We headed back to the villa at around 5pm wasting the second day of my holiday only to be called at 5.30pm to be told i could come and collect my possessions from the office at the airport. the hire was nothing but hassle and a waste of my precious holiday time. since returning i have been billed for petrol i guess for the car that developed the fault as i returned the final car full as requested. all in all poor service and i won't be recommending you to anybody or using you myself. " Copy of email sent to Auto Europe - still awaiting reply Just to let you know I had a very bad experience Clickrent in Ibiza - although most of the problem stated with me arriving late I found the service and attitude well below par. 1,Car park 3 which is not signed posted very well (considering its were the cheaper car hire transfer depart from) and was at the far end of the airport. 2, Arriving at twilight the poorly lite pickup area was alive with insects and I got very badly bitten. 3,The other companies had regular transfer bus's coming and going during the 45 minute wait but not Clickrent. 4,After eventually understanding the telephone message on the number given, I got no reply/no answer/no recorded message from the Ibiza office! 5, I was just about to get a taxi when the lady arrived with no reason for the lack of service - she told a couple who could not fit into the mini bus she would be right back - but at the garage is got out to process the people on the bus and left the others to wait with the bugs. 6,I was told your insurance I bought was worthless and unless I took out theirs she would block my credit card for £1005. 7, She then hit me with a 40 euro "out of office" pick up charge ! With arriving late and then waiting to be picked up it was after 20.00 so I had to pay but I can't understand how they charge such a large amount when the office was clearly open to 22.00 and the office was full of customers (very upset customers!) I see on social media I'm not the first to fall for this scam so will not bother trying to recover this charge. I don't normally take notice of social media sites but wish I had before booking with Auto Europe/ Clickrent. I now read that customers have had to get taxi's back to the airport after dropping off the hire car due to tardiness of the staff which I can well understand with my experience so far. I intent returning my car well before the 13.00 return time but I'm not looking forward to the process and will drop my wife and luggage off at the airport first. On returning it and getting a transfer to the airport, the transfer driver left the depot leaving my husband behind after I had got in to fix the baby seat. " RUDE STAFF....THEY CHARGED ME 111 EUROS FOR THE FULL TANK. WHEN I RETURNED THE CAR WITH A FULL TANK, THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME A RECEIPT FOR RETURN OF THE 111 EUROS UNTIL I KICKED UP A FUSS. IT IS 36 HOURS SINCE THEN, AND I HAVE NOT HAD THE REFUNDED 111 EUROS TO MY VISA ACCOUNT. I WILL BE HIT WITH CURRENCY CONVERSION CHARGES BY VISA...WHY DO THEY HAVE TO TAKE THE MONEY ...WHY CANT THEY JUST HOLD THE PAYMENT PENDING A FULL RETURN OF PETROL...THEN BOTH SIDE ARE HAPPY. WHEN THEY CHECKED THE CAR FOR DAMAGE THEY WERE DESPERATE TO FIND THE TINIEST OF SCRATCHES TO CHARGE ME DAMAGE....THEY ARE A POOR OPERATION LOOKING TO MAKE MONEY AT EVERY ANGLE.......I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.....STILL WAITING FOR MY PETROL DEPOSIT RETURN! " On pickup I had to wait over an hour to pick up the car whilst my husband waited with 2 small children at the airport, I had no communication from the company for the delay. On return, Centuro falsely claimed I had damaged the car. The assistant knelt on the ground and felt a scrape under the bumper and said I had damaged it. I HAD DEFINATELY NOT DAMAGED THE CAR AS IT WAS PARKED IN A PRIVATE DRIVE ALL WEEK. The damage had not been correctly put on the original paperwork. I checked the vehicle for 'large dents and damage' on pickup but surely I'm not expected to crawl under the vehicle to check for damage!!! I have taken pictures and will be disputing the charge of 225 with my credit card company. I'm also seeking legal advice for fraud. "

Inconvenient location for a hire car company and the road layout in the immediate vicinity is dangerous for 'foreign' drivers. No maps of the island evident at collection and not in the car - unforgivable!! "

" CENTAURO had closed and my family of 4 (inc 3yr old and 6 month baby) were unable to get the hire car. Had to hire a taxi at midnight then another taxi back to the hire office. Extremely poor experience and I don't accept that as the flight arrived after 11pm they should leave the office without honouring the booking. VERY VERY POOR!!! "
