    Airport Facilities

Despite its compact size, Ibiza Airport will welcome you with its many passenger services to make your waiting time more pleasant. Numerous eateries that serve freshly prepared, top-quality, local products await you both at the public and passenger only zones. Delicacies typical of Spanish cuisine are also available as souvenirs or gifts at the airport. The airport is equipped with 8 internet access points, and you can surf for free during the first 15 minutes. A modular auditorium suitable for conferences is situated in the technical block of the airport. If you are about to board your plane and the postcards meant to be sent earlier are still in your bag, simply drop them at the post office or post boxes situated on the ground floor. On the same floor you will find a tourist office where the staff will be happy to answer all your Ibiza related questions.

Transportation / How to get to the airport

The largest city on the island, the town of Ibiza is situated only 13 miles from the airport. Reach this vibrant town from the airport in only 20 minutes and visit some of the world's most renowned clubs and bars dotted all over. It is highly likely that you will see many international celebrities who flock to this fun-packed town in summer. Once you have collected your vehicle, you can quickly reach all the main island resorts driving on the new motorway. Pay attention to the signs written in the local language as Ibiza will be marked as Eivissa and San Antonio will be spelled as San Antoni. What is more, it is possible to explore the rest of the Balearic Islands using the local ferry service - head to Mallorca or Menorca and soak in some Mediterranean sunshine! Get some additional information on driving in Spain here.

Alternatively, you could also take a taxi from the taxi rank right outside the terminal building or a bus to one of the nearby towns. The Ibiza Shuttle Bus runs 24/7 covering Ibiza Town, San Antonio and Santa Eulalia. The new, perky addition to the island's nightlife is a disco bus, which is an affordable way of getting from a tourist resort to the popular clubs downtown at night.

    Parking Tips

Ibiza Airport boasts a very much sought-after car park only within a 3-minute walking distance from the terminal building. Parking a car for less than 30 minutes is free of charge, which comes in handy when picking up or dropping off passengers. In Ibiza Town, due to the high influx of tourists during the summer season, finding an available parking space can be rather challenging, yet not impossible. In Es Pratet there is a new car park ideal for short-term parking, and sometimes it is possible to find parking spaces at hotels. In and out of the city centre one can find parking garages and street parking spaces, usually functioning per 'pay-by-the-hour' system. Be sure not to overstay your metered time as it can result in a fine or your car being towed away. Parking spaces marked by blue and green dotted lines signify that paying is obligatory. There are usually blue ticket machines nearby for obtaining a parking pass that needs to be displayed on your car's dashboard further on.
