" Easy to book, efficient comms before the rental that helped, competitive and easy collection/handover "

" The car was 80,000 miles full of dents/scratches and had had a hard life, don't expect for a hire firm. That said it was easily the cheapest and Europcar handled the rental exchange and were very efficient. A good experience just let down by quality of car. "

" I probably wouldn't choose Europcar again. "

" Pick-up took ages because counter agent entered someone's details (with the same name) then had to change it all. Car was old and quite tatty with many scratched etc. It was difficult to know if all of them had been recorded. Annoying to be changed an extra 3 cents because the voucher value was show as less than rental cost - should have been written off. "

" There was a long wait after arrival, as the vehicle was not ready. we had to chase other staff after the gentleman that served us went to fetch the vehicle - the new process of checking the vehicle at the car park (rather than added extra time and was frustrating. "

" The 100% marking throughout tells the story - I have not tried the other agents at this airport and based on my experience with Auto Europe and Alamo why would I wish to? "

" This is our second outing with Alamo and once again the staff and service is superb - this is a quieter airport and it all makes for a very personal and friendly experience. Booking through Auto Europe is more economical than directly through Alamo. "

" Dreadful. "

" I will be sending a complaint of the the utmost severity. I emailed to state I would be an hour late. I received an email from AutoCar that the booking time had allowed for this. The message wasNOT passed on to Europe Car and I was charged a huge amount, despite having the very email which showed I had contacted you. I will be making a very detailed complaint and expect full reimbursement. I have had no internet connection until now and note that my card has been charged even more money - the cost for 1 week for a tiny car with no aircon, no satnav is now £400. I am seriously angry. "

" Only problem was understanding the extra insurance, perhaps a document in multiple languages indicating what cover and costs (if needed) are available and could be indicated and agreed to by the sales assistant. "

" Generally fine. Used Hertz check in desk and only one staff member so had to Queue a while on both collection and pick up. Car had many marks on pick up not marked on paperwork but as long as they don't blame any on me, no issue. Car itself was fine/good. "

" Efficient booking service and detailed paperwork. Did ask for a 5 seater and got a 7 seater, (Peugot 805), which gave restrictive leg room in the rear seats even with the back 2 seats folded. Had to get used to the sliding rear doors! "

" Happy with service to Rennes Airport. Your agent extremely helpful. Office at St Malo TGV had no person to report back to. No notice on the desk to say just drop keys, brochure and fuel receipt. This information given to me by the person at the Europecar Desk who by the way was very rude and ignorant. "
