" See above - the company were terrible in how they dealt with us and we had no way of getting help via Auto Europe that we could find out. "
" We did not get the car we booked. We weren't kept updated with the delay in it being returned to the company and eventually had to go to the site to debate this. There was no solution other than to take a smaller car (of no use to us as we have one and wanted a larger car for a long trip), no willingness to give a rebate, and the manager would not even come and speak to us. We eventually negotiated a discount on our next booking but we may well not use it as they are clearly operating on a knife's edge and you cannot be sure you will get a car. "

" I booked the booking under my wife's name and for someone reason your system changed it to my name. I phone auto europa and they wouldn't help at all!! I hadn't even picked up the car and he told me I would lose my weeks booking and it was my fault. He wouldn't even put me through to a manager. Horrible person. It ended up costing me double. I wouldn't recommend this company "

" Poor experience when going to sign for the vehicle.... being stung with additional fees..... it's almost 'click baiting' customers with apparently low rates to then be hit with unclear fees... e.g £10 per day for a booster seat ( normally £15 purchase from a store) asked to pay £120 for term of rental... " An easy online booking and very helpful customer service when you call. I had to call about a charge from my bank that I knew nothing about. Very helpful person sent me an invoice to see what I was paying for as I had no warning of this. It turned out to be a petrol charge even though the car was returned full "
" The staff were very helpful and friendly at the time of collection. However, I was charged for petrol when the car had been taken back full. I phoned customer services as was unsure what the charge was for (there was no warning)... He sent me an invoice and was very helpful. I called the branch who promised me a call back 5 days ago but I never received the call. Also I have up til now been waiting 11 days for my deposit refund so I am very disappointed with the service "

" Very helpful staff at collection of the car on Friday evening. It was great to be able to drop it off on the Sunday afternoon as a lot of the car hire companies don't let you drop off on Sunday which was the reason I went with National Car Rental. My only main problem was that I struggled to find somewhere to park the car when I dropped it off as the car park was full and cars were blocking the entrance. I had to leave it on the side street in the hopes it would be OK. They must know how many cars they have rented out and how many are due back so it didn't seem to make sense that there weren't enough spaces for the cars. "
