The airport in Alicante consists of one relatively new terminal building constructed in 2011. It is a modern looking predominantly glass building with all facilities that a traveller may need. The two older terminals were closed when the new terminal was built.

The terminal building consists of four levels and each level has a different purpose. The ground level is also known as P-2 and is used as a rendezvous for transport such as public buses, cars, and shuttles, and as a meeting point for travellers with special needs. The next level is P0 and it hosts arrivals from domestic and international flights, access to ground transportation on P-2, a police station, and car hire desks. Departures are operated from the level P2, where you will also find check-in desks. The last level is known as P3 and it offers access to conference rooms and elegant VIP lounges.

In addition to the car rental suppliers present on the P-2 level, some desks can also be found outside at the P1 car park.

    Airport Facilities

The airport in Alicante has everything to make your stay pleasant and the waiting time as short as possible. If you are looking for souvenirs or last minute gifts, head to the duty-free shop where you will find a great selection of goods including perfumes, sweets and tobacco. Grab a bite and a cup of coffee at one of the several restaurants and cafés and enjoy surfing the Internet with the free Wi-Fi throughout the airport. A child play area is located on P2 along with several information points on the same level.
Business travellers are welcome to use the meeting and conference facilities as well as a multipurpose room usually used for press conferences and various trainings and conventions. If you need special attention and have special needs, you should let the airport staff know at least two days in advance and agree on the meeting point.

However, if you need to park your car in the city, have a look at the list of car parks in Alicante.
