Ancona Airport has one single passenger terminal building divided into two areas for Arrivals and Departures. Located to the west of the city of Ancona, the airport and its terminal lie at an elevation of 15 metres (49 feet) above mean sea level and operates with one runway designated 04/22 with an asphalt surface measuring 2,962 by 45 metres (9,718 feet × 148 feet).

Airide, the Ivy Bar is a popular for its freshly-made Segafredo coffee and pastries. Located near the boarding area, the Ancona Airport Duty-free shop offers a wide range of goods, such as perfumes, make-up, fashion accessories, toys, jewellery, watches and souvenirs. Most passengers head for the Essentia Wine Shop to purchase the chocolate products and biscuits, jams, honey, cold meats, cheeses, salami, truffle sausages and oils of Cartoceto Le Corone. How to get to and from Ancona Airport

It's easy picking up and dropping off your car hire at Ancona Airport due to its close proximity to the city centre. There's a main road that connects the airport directly to the motorway network and for those coming from the west, the airport is located near Exit 21 of SS 76. If you are coming from the Adriatic A14 motorway, exit at Ancona Nord (at the motorway exit, follow the signs for the airport and take State Road 76 up to exit 21). The airport is also served by a direct train route departing from the airport train station located just outside the airport. Regional trains heading for Ancona Train Station, Jesi, Fabriano, Foligno, Orte and Rome depart from there. The airport Aerobus is a shuttle bus service to and from the centre of Ancona (Piazza Cavour, Railway Station and Torrette, stopping at the airport train station (tickets can be purchased directly on board the bus). Parking Tips

Despite the reputation of some large Italian cities, finding somewhere to park for a few hours in Ancona is a relatively seamless affair.
