Airlines operating at Antwerp Airport: Regular and seasonal charter flights are offered by CityJet, VLM Airlines, Air France and Jetairfly. CityJet offers direct flights from London City Airport to Antwerp four times a week.
Modest in size, the airport has only one terminal and a short runway, which limits its use to smaller airplanes. The terminal was opened in 2006 and nowadays offers only basic facilities you may benefit from before or after your flight.

Due to its compact size and a modest number of passengers, the airport does not have a variety of facilities available. However, there is internet access in the entire terminal building and one restaurant offering a two-fold concept of either fine dining in style or a pub. It should take you approximately 20 minutes to reach the centre of Antwerp from the airport with your car hire. The airport is located in Luchthavenlei street. Follow the street to Vosstraat. Then take Diksmuidelaan, Binnensingel/R10 and N184 to Huidevetterststraat. Continue on this street and keep driving to Eiermarkt. At the airport, you will find two car parks. One of them is chargeable while another is still free of charge. You can reach the latter via the access road that goes along the railway. There is also a free shuttle service that takes passengers to the airport. In the historic centre of Antwerp, it would be best to park your car hire near the centre and explore the historic part on foot. On-street parking spaces may be difficult to find.
