    Parking Tips

In Oslo you can choose between municipal and private parking. Municipal, also known as public parking, is usually free on Sundays, Saturdays after 3pm and Monday until Friday between 3pm and 9am. Private parking requires fees at all times. Public parking in Oslo is divided into zones which have various time and price regulations. If you decide to obtain the Oslo Pass, it will enable you to use public car parks free of charge. Bear in mind, even if you are in possession of the pass, rules about the maximum parking time at a certain car park still apply. Write down the date, time, registration and licence number on the parking ticket which you will receive with the Oslo Pass. The airport offers short-term and long-term parking options. Short-term car parks, P10 and P1, are located right off the airport within walking distance, while P2, P3, P4, P5 and P6 are connected with the airport by shuttle buses.
