" Shocking experience picking up a car from Dubai Airport, its very disorganised and chaotic. I had to get a taxi from T3 to T1 because there isnt a Budget office in T3. Then I had join a massive queue for the Budget desk at T1 arrivals, after being verified and signing the docs I had to then make my way to T1 departure - only to wait even more for them to handover my rental car. The whole process took nearly 3 hours!!! Massive disappointment considering its Dubai Int airport and would expect better process "

" Picking up the car took almost an hour at the desk in the terminal (most of the time queuing) plus another 20 mins at the pick-up desk by the car park. They had emailed a link to pre-register a few days earlier which I completed and thought that would make the process quicker but they didn't even use that system so I'm not sure why they bothered emailing it to me. During the rental I did some minor damage to the car not involving any other vehicles. On drop-off they said I needed a police report but didn't explain why and they didn't tell me that there was a Dubai Police app that I could have used to file a report. Had I known that I would have done that straight away while still in the airport. They also insisted that without the report I'm liable for the full cost of the damage rather than the excess (an argument which is still ongoing). "

" Auto Europe are a third party. However, Budget blocked far more for a deposit then Auto Europe specified they would. This is misleading. Auto Europe should also advise of distance between collection and pick up locations as I had to incur additional transfer costs. "

When we reached the collection point, we had to wait for OVER ONE HOUR as there was only one member of staff present and she appeared to be untrained. At the end of the rental, Budget are claiming that there is tyre and alloy damage to their vehicle, which they will no doubt try to make as much money as possible. The vehicle itself was an upgrade, but only because they had run out of cars. It reeked of cigarette smoke and not been cleaned. To add insult to injury, I had to pay a taxi fair if ten pounds to return to Terminal 3. "

" Someone had hit our car in a car park yet we weren't given details of local police to report this but took images. Thankfully I had taken images of the car when I took it as the seats inside were completely stained and they then tried to claim we had done it and would need to pay for the repair. Once I showed my images they proceeded to say they still think I did it but will let it go which was infuriating. They charged us around £140 for a scratch that we did not cause and had numerous hidden charges. The car was in a terrible condition but managed to get us from A to B. They also charged us £50 to use my SISTERS credit card to hold the payment even though she had booked and paid for the whole rental. Absolutely appalling. Ended up paying the fee of the car twice with all this trickery and lies. Take photos of the car inside and out st all times and make sure you have local authorities number! "

" Booked car one month ago assuming after 7hrs of flight and little kids with me at night it should be easy but when I went to collect it, the staff first didn't have the same car as "they were busy" so wanted to downgrade with my lagguage would not have been possible. " I was told when i arrived in Dubai that there was an additional 500 Dhirums for insurance because i was paying with a debit card and 2000 in addition coming off my card which will be refunded in 45 days. I refused to take the car. This is not clearly stated in the T&Cs. are there is nothing about paying additional insurance if you have a debit card. So i took a car with hertz instead who are happy to take debit cards. I emailed your company twice to check i had not been charged (NO REPLY) I rang your company today to find out that i have been charged in full even though i did not take the car. I am starting a claim of fraudulent charges against your company now from my bank and will post all my experience on you tube on other social media. and the cheek is you took the money off my debit card ... This scam is shocking ! "

" Horrendous is an understatement to say the least I was kept waiting for over 2 hours for a car to be delivered from another branch as the car I requested had an expired license. A service manager from the Bur Dubai branch was delivering this replacement car with another driver but when asked where they were they lied about they're location so many times that I ended up getting my 360AED oman insurance for free as an apology. If they had just said at the start the car would not ba ready for 2 hours that would have been fine but for the fact that they constantly lied for 2 hours was just not very professional. I would not hire from Go again and certainly would not recommend them to anyone. "
