" Auto hire offered excellent price compared to going direct. The only problem was that I had to wait overnight for the reservation to be confirmed and I needed the car that next day. So there was some uncertainty. Otherwise the service was excellent. "
" Very happy, but the fuel arrangement was different to that advertised. Your site said that the car would be provided with a full tank and should be returned full. The arrangement in Jersey is that they provide a half tank and you have to return it half full, or pay up-front for half a tank. So I paid for half a tank at the start of the rental and used less than one quarter as it was only a short hire. "

An observation would be to give clearer instructions regarding drop off ... we ended up going back to the desk in Arrivals as the drop off office was unmanned. This would not deter us from using you again. "

" Booked on line,No confirmation received,e mailed several times as wasn't sure if it had been booked or not.seemingly payment taken but wasn't sure,we think we were dealing with someone in Germany so not sure where the UK office has suddenly come from.They might have been waiting on the supplier however in this day and age it should have been confirmed in minutes although dealing with Jersey might explain it.Don't think I'm being unreasonable but if I'm trying to book something I want to know ASAP whether it's booked or not or I need to look elsewhere. On picking up the car, when querying why the car was not full, I was told that was auto-europe and you always showed it as that irrespective and stated that in fact Avis Jersey do not offer a full to full policy. They refused to budge on the issue pointing to a statement in the rental voucher re. being charged to fill to full - something I assumed had been included via my rental agreement with you. Please advise, this is very disappointing as I would have selected a rental company in the airport terminal had I not been miss-sold this rental. "

" I chose Auto-Europe/Avis because I wanted the Pickup full and return full option. In the terms and conditions, under fuel policy it says: "Refueling Charge: Vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank of fuel. If not a locally determined refueling fee will apply." The car hire voucher says: "Fuel: The rental will be provided with a full tank of fuel, for which clients will be charged. " Paperwork on check in was done in 5 minutes, normally takes about 20-30 minutes. Car was nice and clean. The only annoying thing was the fuel policy, you take the car with half a tank and have to return it as empty as possible. I was there for 4 days, travelling all the time and only used 1/4 tank, so the other 1/4 was returned to Hertz, but unfortunately non-refundable. "
