" I was very happy with Europcar, However, I was very disappointed with Auto Europe, when my situation change they were unwilling to help me change my car hire,. They sent me on a roundabout of phonecalls leading to nowhere and were not interested in changing the rental. "

" No problems at all, everything was fine. I did have to notify the office about a few scratches after they said the car was fine, but it was duly noted on my agreement. In this day and age the car could really have done with a slightly bigger engine (I have had budget range cars before that did) and a 6th gear for motorways. But otherwise no complaints "

" Easy to hire on line, nice size car, although no one checked over car prior to taking it out or on return. The faults we found were photographed & we returned to car hire centre where it was noted by staff. Would use again & also make sure to video/ take pictures of the car before taking it away. "
" Keys given at desk, no one took us to car to go over condition etc. Some damage to car that was told to us, however there was more damage that was not mentioned....There was a chip in windscreen, wheel damage, paint damage to back of car & all door trims. Although staff took note & I took pictures it was still concerning. No one checked car over on return either. "

" I was supposed to send the car by 9pm but got caught by road closures returning to Norwich from Liverpool. Long Before 9pm when I expected to be late I started to try contacting them up until after 9pm but the auto reply just said the office is only open from 8 to 5 or something. They did not contact me until around 7am the next morning. I had to miss my early morning bus to the airport because I could not arrange to send in the car after I missed the time due to the road closures. "

Called at 6pm could not get through. Called at arranged drop off time at 9pm, also could not get through. In the end had to keep the car until the next day and until they called me the next day because I had no way of contacting them earlier. Missed my bus to London airport and had to spend 225 pound on taxi. Would have been better if I could just pay extra hours to send the car a few hours later. But could not contact them. Everything else before that was ok. "

" I initially booked the car having seen a 'two drivers for one price,' but somewhere along the way this offer disappeared. A shame because the insurance for a second driver is too expensive, even though it is more convenient and safer for both to be able to drive the car. I must say that this would ALWAYS persuade us to hire a car with one company rather than the others. "

" Terrible service. I was early for the pickup and waited twenty minutes which was fine only after sitting that time I had to waste another half hour doing paper work which could have been done while I waited. Had a minor accident which I called in needing a tire replacement and never was called! Awful! "
