Station Information

Avignon TGV Train Station was opened in 2001 and to date consists of six tracks with four platforms. The two through lines allow high-speed trains to pass through the station without having to stop. The train station was designed by Jean-Francois Blassel and Jean-Marie Duthilleul and incorporates an impressive 1,115 foot long glazed roof. A link was established with regular shuttles between both Avignon train stations – The Avignon TGV to the Avignon City Train Station.

The official train station car parks are available a short walk away from the actual station – around a minutes’ walk. The P2 & P3 car parks are run by EFFIA and charge around 14.90 Euros per day. Hourly charges are also applied for those wishing to park for lesser time. A drop-off area is located outside the station.
