Bari Airport (BRI)
Official name: Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport, Italian: Aeroporto di Bari-Karol Wojtyła. The airport was named after Pope John Paul II.

Airlines operating at Bari Airport: There are numerous airlines serving the airport, the main ones include Aliatia, Air Berlin, easyJet, Ryanair, and Wizzair. Flights to the UK are operated by easyJet and Ryanair. British Airlines offer seasonal connections to London Gatwick.
The airport consists of one terminal building with arrivals on the ground floor and departures on the ground and first floor. A viewing area, as well as some of the travel facilities, are located on the second floor.
Car hire desks are located on the ground floor on the right-hand side of the arrivals hall. Have your voucher, credit card and driving licence ready to pick up the car. Check the vehicle for any existing damage and verify the fuel level. Upon drop-off, the car will be inspected for any new damage and fuel.

Shops and restaurants are located on the land and airside at Bari Airport. Stationary, jewellery, watches and fashion boutiques are located on the landside as well as a wine bar, and cafeteria. Airside offers beachwear, souvenirs, fashion duty-free shops, and bars. There is free WiFi connection to the Internet throughout the terminal building. ATM's are located in the departure lounge and the arrivals area. Currency exchange is found on the arrivals floor.
The airport is located five miles northwest from downtown Bari. The best way to arrive at the city centre is by car hire from Bari Airport; the drive takes approximately 20 minutes with light traffic. Parking facilities are situated in front of the terminal. The car hire car park is located to the east of the airport building. In downtown Bari there are ZTL zones (limited traffic zone) which you cannot enter with your car hire, unless your hotel is situated in one of them and the hotel staff registers your car number to the police. On-street parking is available along the blue and white lines. The first is paid, the latter is free. There are also paid public car parks in different parts of the city.
