Los Angeles International Airport houses nine terminals. The terminals are arranged in the shape of a horseshoe. Only terminals 5, 6, 7 and 8 are connected airside via an underground tunnel. The other terminals, despite not being airside connected, are served by regular shuttle bus service. Free shuttle buses are at passengers' disposal every 10-15 minutes to help them get from one terminal to another. In order to use their service, look for the sign "LAX Shuttle & Airline Connections" on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal, and board the Airline connections "A" Shuttle.
Car rental desks are located outside the main building, quite near to the economy parking lot. Some suppliers offer shuttles from their offices to the terminal buildings. In order to arrange a shuttle pick-up service, you may use free phones located in the Arrivals area of every terminal. Another alternative is using the airport's free of charge shuttle bus which stops at Lot C, where suppliers' offices are located.

The airport also provides slots with charging stations for electric vehicles. Motorcycles are allowed to park for free inside the central car parks. However, they are not to park in spaces intended for cars. The city of Los Angeles has a plenty of parking opportunities. There are many car parks and garages to choose form. Street parking is also an alternative car parks and garages. However, please note that it can get more expensive during the afternoon or rush hour times, even resulting in some streets becoming non-parking zones at these times. Always pay attention to signs and meters in order to avoid being issued a fine.
