How to get to and from Seville Santa Justa Train Station

Being a modern and well-planned public transportation centre, travellers rarely have a problem picking up their car rental at Seville Santa Justa Train Station. It's a 15-minute walk from the city centre and a taxi will only cost a few euros whereever they might be in the city. Two bus routes stop right outside the station and the city has a metro line running from east to west, as well as an efficient tram system connecting Plaza Nueva with the Prado de San Sebastian bus station. The Sevillian bus network is extensive and can get you round the city quickly and easily for a very reasonable cost. Seville Airport, likewise, is conveniently located just 10 kilometres north-east of the city and is easily accessible via the San Pablo motorway in the direction of Córdoba. A regular airport bus transfer service called EA (Especial Aeropuerto) operates between the airport and San Sebastián Square (Prado de San Sebastián) stopping at Seville Santa Justa Station en route.

    Parking tips

Although car parking spaces are quite limited in the city centre, there are still plenty of places where you can park your rent a car at Seville Santa Justa Train Station. Much of Seville’s street parking is regulated by zones where parking is only permitted for a limited amount of time, which is far from ideal for city sightseeing. Nevertheless, several municipal car parks exist near the city's historic centre such as the one at Jardines de Murillo and another at Plaza de la Concordia (underneath the main branch of El Corte Inglés), which are both good options for tourists intending to visit Seville's main tourist attractions. Additionally, a large underground car park with 24-hour surveillance is located at Arenal Market Parking in the heart of the city centre, close to the Maestranza, Torre del Oro, Plaza Nueva and the Cathedral, with pedestrian access to Pastor and Landeros Street next to Reyes Catolicos Street. Seville also has a selection of free car parks in the outskirts of the city centre which are open to the public and an excellent way of avoiding the congestion problems of downtown Seville by parking there and using the public transport system to get around.
