Driving Licence Requirements

If you are looking to hire a car and drive in the UK, you must be at least 22 years old (age may vary by car category) and have held your license for 1 year.

Age Restrictions

Drivers under the age of 25 may incur a young driver surcharge. Some suppliers have a maximum age limit of 69 years old. The UK age restriction may vary by supplier. Please check the Terms and Conditions when making an enquiry or booking for a hire car in London and other cities.

Road Rules and Petrol Stations

General UK driving information, laws rules and regulations:
