" The only disappointing thing about the experience was that when I picked up the vehicle it appeared to have a full tank of petrol - 352 miles until refuel. I had done about 100 miles during the rental period and before returning the car I went to refuel and filled the car up spending approx £20. When I looked at the miles to refuel it was 392 suggesting that the car wasn't actually a full tank when I collected it and that I have therefore spent more refuelling the car then the person before me. I think you need to have a better system in place to ensure everyone is putting in a full tank in as required by the contract. "

As a result they (Europcar) had to keep open their branch at Leeds Airport until 11.05pm. I have complained about this, but they are unresponsive so far. Only 1 email from them claiming we returned the car late, when we actually returned it early. I doubt very much that I will use Europcar again as they are unwillingly to deal/talk personally about my complaint. When I phoned the week before about my concerns of the arrival time NO mention was made of extra charges should we be delayed. "

Also I booked a 3 door vehicle but was given a 5 door as they had no more 3 door available, I book 3 door vehicles as I am 6 foot 3 inches tall & it is very difficult to get in & out of the 5 door ecconomy cars. I would have just picked up the vehicle from another Enterprise car hire location to avoid the surcharge if the car I wanted was available at the time. The surcharge should be addressed between Enterprise and LBA and not just passed onto the customer as a penalty for just picking up a car from Enterprise. "
