    Station Information

    Dating back to 1864, it wasn’t until 1867 however that Nice-Ville Train Station was officially completed. It was designed in a Louise XIII style by architect Louis-Jules Bouchot. The railway station was constructed outside of Nice city centre, although overtime the city has grown and ultimately reach the surroundings around the station. Much of the train stations original features still remain, including a grand clock, its steel roof top, stone sculptures and imposing balconies that overlook the main hall. The train station consists of seven platforms, of which welcome in millions of passengers annually.

    How to get to and from Nice-Ville Train Station

    Getting to and from Nice-Ville Train Station isn’t too problematic with an onsite connecting city wide tram service, rental cars, bus stops and a taxi rank outside. From the Promenade des Anglais or Vieux Nice you can take the tramway Line 1 to the train station. If you are coming from the westside of Nice, bus number 12, from Comiez bus number 17 and from Nice International Airport the number 99 shuttle bus service.     Parking around the train station can be problematic due to its popularity. You can however park at the train stations main car park garage which is run by a partner company called EFFIA. This garage is opened Monday to Saturday, 9am until 7pm, Sundays and public holidays from 10am until 7pm. From this parking garage you have direct access to Nice-Ville Train Station via an escalator.
