    The airport has two terminals. One terminal built in 1983 to replace an older terminal, and one newer terminal built in 2007. On the first floor of the departure hall you can find the check-in desks. Travelers are advised to be at the airport 3 hours before the expected time of departure of a non-Schengen flight and 2 hours before a Schengen flight. Car hire desks can be found on the ground floor.

    Car hire Pick up and Drop off

    Car hire suppliers at Valencia Airport will have either a desk in the terminal, or have a courtesy bus to their location. In case you choose a supplier that has a courtesy bus, we advise you to plan in sufficient time to avoid missing your flight.     Airport Facilities

    The Airport has a wide array of eateries. There are several fast-food chains, tapas restaurants, cafes, pizzerias and more. The airport also offers duty free shopping with shops selling anything from drinks to clothing accessories. The opening times of the shops are from 5am to 9pm. On the second floor at the departure hall you can find a pharmacy. The airport also has a VIP lounge which is open between 5am and 10pm. Entrance passes can be purchased through the website of the airport.

    Transportation / How to get to the airport

    By Car
    Valencia Airport is close to the centre and can be reached by car in approximately 15 minutes. From the centre turn onto the V-30 road and follow the signs to the airport.     By bus and taxi
    Without car hire the best way to get to the airport is by bus. Metro lines 3 and 5 link the airport to the city. The metro station is on the ground floor of the airport and it takes about 25 minutes to reach the centre of the city. Buses depart every 20 minutes between 6 am and 10 pm from the airport. There is a taxi stand opposite the arrival hall.

    Parking Tips

    The airport offers long and short term parking. Airport website allows you to make parking reservations. The long-stay parking car park has a capacity of 218 parking spots. For short term parking, there is the car park (P1) that has a capacity of 3,012 parking.
