The airport consists of one modern terminal with all travel-related facilities adapted for disabled visitors. The terminal is divided into the arrivals and departures areas.
Car hire companies are located within the terminal and cars are parked at the airport parking site. Inside the terminal, follow the signs to car rental. One terminal hosts a number of travel and financial services, all close to one another. There is a restaurant, newsagents shop, banking and money exchange services as well as ATM machines. There is also a tourist information and travel agency in the arrivals area.
There is no railway station located close to the airport; passengers may travel to the centre of Carcassonne either by bus (Anglo'Bus) or taxi. Shuttle buses depart from the airport according to the flight timetable. The airport is located on the western outskirts of the city. A drive from the airport to the city centre takes approximately 10 minutes.
On-street parking as well as public car parks are paid in Carcassonne. Make sure you understand where you can park and what the fees are. Public car parks are located close to Bastide Saint Louis and Medieval City; in the latter, the first parking hour is free of charge.
